Lions looking for the bonus try now, and may well get it
Penalty Lions, for offside by the Staat… to touch they go
Lions maul… but it’s static
No complaints from me, Lions were the better team from the 10th minute. Congrats to Leeutjie4eva, Scrumdown, and all Lions supporters.
Naka can give me the Monday session, I will make Kamp Staalwol look like a Sunday picnic in the botanical gardens. Us bokkope know how to give a decent opfok!
I am going to peel the potato’s.
Desperate defence by the Cheetahs now
Lions will have another lineout, 5m out….
And the skies open up again over our house. If it is like this at Newlands, it will be a swimming pool
Guess my SuperBru is in it’s moer… solidly
@ Loosehead:
Lions too good….well done though, happy for Ackers and the Lion ‘die-hards’ keeping the old pride union’s game alive.
Good on them, and good for SA rugby.
Try Lions
TMO
Looks held up
Well that is my Superbru cocked! Was entertaining if youvarexa Lions supporter, but as Loosehead says, it’s tough to be a Cheetahs supporter when things go like this! Enjoy the snorefest in Slaapstad folks. BTW Popgun isn’t playing? Might be entertaining!
251 @ smallies72:
Ruled held up, 5m Lions scrum
2 sets of twins on now
@ grootblousmile:
Hoekom?
Lions penalty… after an offside break out by the Staat
And Combrink gets the bonus
Try Combrinck… Lions bonus point.
258 @ smallies72:
Jy weet hoekom.
Lions 43 / 20 Cheetahs
@ grootblousmile:
Lol, to be fair, Jonker was way better than in previous games, but I can understand Smallies’ bitterness towards Jonker. He has been a major stumbling block for the Cheetahs, but not tonight. It doesn’t move Jonker higher, he is still a boks!
@ smallies72:
Lions penalty… time is up… hacked out.
Game Over
Final Score: MTN Golden Lions 43 / 20 Toyota Free State Cheetahs
Bad luck Cheetahs, but a very good win for the Lions, will that put them back on track. Lets hope so.
Wow what happened there? Got the right team for Superbru but way out on points, I thought it would be close
