Loose forward Arno Botha will miss this week’s Absa Currie Cup clash against the Toyota Free State due to a hamstring injury, but midfielder Johann Sadie will be fit for selection.
Official Blue Bulls Media Release
According to Vodacom Blue Bulls team doctor Org Strauss, Botha picked up a hamstring strain against Griquas last weekend and will be out of action for at least ten days.
Sadie was out of action for almost two months following an ankle injury, but has fully recovered and of selected, could make his Currie Cup debut for the Vodacom Blue Bulls.
Dewald Potgieter, Jürgen Visser and Werner Kruger sat out training on Monday, but will be back on the field tomorrow.
“They all have bumps and bruises following the match against Griquas, but will be training again on Tuesday,” Strauss said.
Fudge Mabeta (8 weeks), Bjorn Basson (5 weeks) and Bongi Mbonambi (3 weeks) are longer term injuries.
Arno Botha is an YSTER… get well soon, son!
Sadie still going to play for Cheetahs next season ? Hope he doesn’t get injured AGAINST them.

Yip.
@ Pietman:
I hope he does not try to impress his new owners with some loyalty. Look old friend Piet in the SA i live in you only do what can mean money for YOU, that is the sad reality of our community. Call that a negative comment , but thats how it works, i feel if a player wants to move on let him go. The Kevin Peterson saga in England supports my view.
