After the tea break I would really like us to get another two wickets before close today. Feel that would put pressure on them.

  • 212

    210 @ grootblouBokJan:
LOL… They needed this rest really. Bowlers should come out fresh. Well hoping.

  • 213

    203 @ BullscotBokJan:

Thanks bud. Was just wondering where SuperBul was.

  • 214

@ grootblouBokJan:You have dinner at lunch time, tea at tea time and supper at dinner time. Whats so strange about that?

  • 215

    214 @ BokJan For Kicks:
That’s all batty if you ask me…

I have breakfast as breakfast time, Lunch at lunchtime and supper at suppertime…. and inbetween I snack… and drink condensed milk… hehe

  • 216

Okay I am out of here. We off for sundowners and dinner. Though there is no sun right now, weather been rather dull today.

Go Proteas. Hope we pick up another two wickets before close.

Catch up tomorrow with all the BokJans…..lol.

Cheers all. Hope I can log on straight up tomorrow as when I logged on this morning it took me forever. Kept saying ‘wrong username’ Anyhow Cheers Jans….hehehe.

  • 217

Bowlers really having to work hard now, could be a long couple of days

  • 218

    Tahir and Duminy soon

  • 219

Fark, England have pulled it back quite a lot after their 4th wicket fell…

Blomme needs at least one wicket tonight still!

  • 220

Bairstow gets his half century. Batted well, and weathered the storm. Eng 151/4

  • 221

If the moisture is out of the deck and its flat we can bat England out of the game in the 2nd innings

  • 222

After a slow cricket day, will be nice to see some rugby…

  • 223

    – Sharksjanne (chokers in superrugby) ?
    – Stormers-sanne (chokes in super en CB rugby) ?

Ek dink die Stormers-sanne is waardige troonopvolgers na vanjaar se superrugby.

  • 224

Toets gaan gewen of verloor word in die volgende 20 beurte.

  • 225

    Ahhhh, a wicket!

    Bell goes for 58

    178 / 5

  • 226

Mooi so, nog ‘n paaltjie voor 200 dan is ons in die tailenders.

  • 227

@ jan-jan-jan-die-bokbul-van-die-bosveld:If only the Stormers could get the chokers tag, at least we would have SOMETHING to hang in the trophy cabinet!

Good day for both sides, almost a mirror image of the SA innings, but as the pitch flattened out after tea, it really became a batsman’s paradise. SA are really going to have to prise out the poms tomorrow, and it won’t be easy if the weather conditions stay the same. Kudos to Bairstow for a very good innings, that may continue to make his hundred in the morning.

i feel the same about selectors, just like players have to be the best in their position so must the coach be a guy able to build a game plan with the countries best talent at his disposal.

    Gobble_BokJan wrote:

Because coaches become loyal to their players and are no longer unbiased.

Thats why someone out of the team environment must make the call.
But forget it it will NEVER be that way again, the coach is now the owner end of story and he can do with the team whatever he pleases.

And we are left to criticize him, end of story.

    229 @ BokJan For Kicks:
Howzit JFK, that is just about the concern I expressed before start of play yesterday morning on post #78, looks clear there in London and already warming up so think only assistance bowlers can hope for is if the pitch has been covered overnight that it would have sweated a bit and may be ‘juicy’ for a short while before it drys out again. They going to have to rely on their own skill and hopefully make England play at every ball right from the start, by the time they start it will already be up in the mid 20’s with the sun baking down, by mid afternoon approaching 30, so hope by then Proteas are batting.

  • 232

@ BullscotBokJan:SA need to get through the next 8 overs as quick as possible. so as to get a new nut whilst there may be a tad of moisture left in the pitch. It is probably their best chance. Otherwise they have to keep very tight lines, keep the run rate as low as possible, as England will need to pile on the runs if they are to give themselves a chance of winning this one. I can, however see this one petering out into a tame draw if the weather stay’s – which would be no train smash for us, we win the series and still go to no.1.

Whatever happens, it is a great day of sports today!!!! Hope you get to see a bit!

  • 233

Again struggled to log in with the ‘Springbok Jan’ on my nic.

Okay so have let them in here. Do hope we can take Bairstow. We get his wicket think the rest will fall very soon after.

Forgot. Good Morning everyone. Bok day today. Can’t wait for our game later.

  • 234

Even if we get Prior quick that would help, as he can bat some too. Would like us to break this partnership up as quick as we can. Also keep it tight don’t let them get runs, will put the pressure on.

Go Proteas. Win or draw we win the series. Just can’t let this good start by us slip and let them get a win here.
