    What a potty-mouthed plonker!

Mens moet hom in die eiers skop, sodat sy kinders scrambled gebore word…

No it only gets dark there around 10pm. They play until around 9pm. Sun stays up late in the summer there. Awesome. I really enjoyed the long, long evenings when I lived in Holland this time of year. Also whey I go to Scotland in the summer it stays lighter longer than down in England. About a half hour or a bit longer. Sun goes down around 10.30 or even 11pm depends which part of Scotland you in. Ask BullScotJan how awesome the late nights are in Aberdeen.

    Okay. Go Proteas.

Lets get em boys. Hope we can get at least 300 or more.

Frans die Wit Buffel is vet, lui en stadig…. DIS NOU ‘n has-been, daai ene!

  • 95

O Flok, Dale Steyn goes for 26.

    270 / 8

  • 96

Wicket. Steyn gone for 26, nicks one to Swann off Broad

  • 97

Oh damn there goes Dale. Not sure if we will make 300 now.

  • 98

270 still more than we could have asked for, just hope Philander makes it to 50. He deserves it. I don’t think Morne is going to stay long, and as for Tahir, well….

  • 99

That normally happens when we come out the next day to bat after long concentration in keeping our wicket during the night before. Had we gone on last night bet even in bad light we could have made more runs. Damn hope we can make 300.

  • 100

Morne will always play his shots

  • 101

Morne Morkel is not totally stupid with bat in hand.

Lots of swing and movement off the pich, hey!

  • 102

    Philander facing, needs 1 run

  • 103

And he gets it, well done Vernon Philander 50 runs in this context, brilliant

  • 104

I have a package to collect…. it’s arrived all the way from Hong Kong…

Hoping to collect it well before the innings break…

Ah, Philander gets his 50… well done.

  • 105

    come-on boytjies
another 20 runs to get to 300

  • 106

@ grootblouBokJan:Swing will only last as long as the clouds, and they are apparently on their way out. Should clear up by lunch. Movement is always an issue at Lords with the sloping pitch (8 feet difference in height between boundaries). Hope the SA bowlers can utilise the slope to their advantage. Been the undoing of many an overseas bowler, if not used to it!

  • 107

    106 @ BokJan For Kicks:
Freegin hell, a whole 8 feet!

Damn, almost slopes steeper than my office roof…. hahaha

  • 108

OK, see you guys just now…. out of here for about 15 minutes

  • 109

    89 @ BokJan For Kicks:
What a plonker of note. Crikey cry me a river. They should just let all our saffa players out of their team and see how good they are then? Trott, Prior and Strauss all saffas. Also if it was not for KP that stood and stood in that last test when they beat Oz not the last time but the time before to claim the Ashes they would NEVER have won the Ashes back had it not been for KP standing forever that day to win it for them. Then they praised him and praised him no end. Now what? haha. Just don’t get some of the English really. I have quite a few English mates that live in Lancaster and really I always have a massive debate with them about our players in their sport. At the time they said KP was English and nothing else. Now with the problems he has caused he is that ‘Ungrateful South African’ and should go back to South Africa…haha. I told them but they then because he was winning everything for them he was English now not so they hate him now. Well.. well. Who cares. They have enough of our players in their rugby team and cricket team. WHY the heck pick the WHITE South Africans then? They seem do need us to win but if we have anything to say then it is just bugger off. Ag, who cares.

  • 110

    106 @ BokJan For Kicks:
I hope so too. Hope the clouds stay a bit. Otherwise if it goes and they come in we going to struggle to bowl them out.

  • 111

@ PumaSpringbokJan:Yup, thats the bit that always gets me, the like of KP, et al, are only english when they need them. Take Mo Farrah. won two golds for UK, hero of note, will probably get his MBE as did KP, but he will only be English as long as he ‘toes the line’, then he will become that ‘Somalian refugee’ or some such like!

  • 112

Edging ever closer to that magic 300 run mark

  • 113

Yes getting closer the 300 mark. Though if the clouds to shift we will struggle to bowl them out. Could it be better that we get bowled out now and get a chance at them with the cloud cover? Try and get one or 3 out quick with the new ball?

  • 114

And SA get to 300 – 301/8. Well done lads, a decent total to fight from

  • 115

    300 up for sa.
    next target 320!!
    come-on boytjies!

  • 116

    111 @ BokJan For Kicks:
Exactly and that is what really grates me about them. When talking to my mates there they had all praise for KP think it was in the 2005 series against Oz. I told them it was a Saffa that won them the Ashes… just a bit of banter. They took it soooooooooo serious and said he is English not South African and so it went on. I told them KP is only there for himself and they would learn. NO they said he is English and they were proud of him been English. I just could not get it through their heads he WAS South African. Now I speak to them and they so disgusted with him saying THAT South African should bugger off back to South Africa we don’t need him here. Man it angers me that no end. No wonder the Scots dislike them so much. (Sorry BlueBird you a turely lovely lady I don’t mean you) So yeah, it does make my blood boil to read that. Especially that they have so many saffas in their team and now their rugby.

Ah, Greig would not have taken it. No wonder he went to live in Oz…lol.

Man I really enjoy England I and do feel the English living in the South are totally different from the Northerners there. Just my feeling. And I love London. So yeah. Just some of them turely grate me.

  • 117

Tail enders done a stirling job

  • 118

Well is if we stay in I hope we stay in for a long, long time..hehe

  • 119

Wicket. Morkel gone. Caught Prior off Finn for 25

  • 120

Another ‘Duminy’ type dismissal – chasing a very wide one. We really have gifted a few wickets in this match
