    All over for England.

Hope we can with the odi series too. Again we will move up to number one in the world. Jeez our cricket is looking better than our rugby………..lol. We have a brilliant coach with Gary there.

If we win THIS ODI, we move to No 1 in the rankings already… today!

  • 213

If SA win, they go to number 1 spot, out on their own – thats number 1 in the test rankings and the ODI rankings. Hell, now thats something to smile about!!!

  • 214

I came back from dinner 15min ago and they were 5 down actually then 6 very quick, now 8 down! I like it…. 🙂

Hope when we go to Oz we do the same to them too.

  • 215

212 @ grootblouBokJan:Thats twice now, and getting scary!

  • 216

211 @ PumaSpringbokJan:Was going to suggest to GBS we change the name of the site to rugby-whisper, or perhaps cricket-shout!!!!!

  • 217

    215 @ Just For Kicks:
Now only if you would think like me in the rugby sense… hehehe

    212 @ grootblouBokJan:
After this odi? Jeez thought we had to win the series. Sommer go Proteas…hehe. Enjoying our cricket this season. Great when we winning just love it. Want us to do the same to Oz. England and Oz always want to beat those countries at cricket. Rugby I just want us to beat the ABs all the time. We used to more often many years back when I was growing up. Now it has changed. Hope eventually we get it back to that era and beat them more often, home and away.

  • 219

KP made 163 runs on his own today, in his match. Think England are rueing their decision?????

  • 220

England already nearly need 9 runs per over, 2 wickets in hand

  • 221

    216 JFK…. hahahaha. Good thinking.

Also what I wanted to say to you, that one thing you can really look forward to next Scottish summer is those brilliant long, long summer evenings when the sun goes down around 10pm or 11pm depends where you are in Scotland. That for me is awesome over there.

  • 222

217 @ grootblouBokJan:That would mean I’d have to go out and buy myself a blue felt 10 gallon stetson and a pink vest. And I’d have to defend HM. I just couldn’t do that, hehehe

  • 223

221 @ PumaSpringbokJan:Yup, but you also get the midges then, and they’re worse than mozzies!!!!

  • 224

Hahaha, Anderson with a reverse sweep. I don’t know

  • 225

Gone upstairs for a run out on Anderson. Looks out

    219 @ Just For Kicks:
We have to give it to KP he is a match winner and England must be feeling it now that they dropped him. They might rethink it over. BUT I feel they done the right thing. You can’t have a player sending messages to another team about your captain and coach. That is not right. But yes, KP might have helped them to draw the last test with us (they were smashing everything coming our way in the last overs), I feel if KP was there they might have got to our score. Then again today they miss him. Then that is their worry right now. Because it is the saffa againg that they are relying on to win it for them.

  • 228

….and gone. Anderson runout AB for 5. Eng 170/9

  • 229

1 More great ball and I can go in… a happy man

Sorry taken so long to get in to respond, did think you were being too harsh on our bowlers as Parnell hads been in good form for SA A team on their tour here and Peterson did well in India at world cup, must admit dont know much about Mclaren other than..they make good racing cars Happy

  • 231

227 @ PumaSpringbokJan:The problem with the poms is their pompousness. I think simple man management would have done wonders. Look at how Australia kept the lid on Shane Warne, who is equally as vocal.

    223 @ Just For Kicks:
I know those midges are terrible, but mozzies bite worse. Actually mozzies never bother me, if they bite it just itchy for a night then gone. Those midges come at you in the hundreds. I used to run there in the summer if I was there at that time, and they would keep up with me know matter how far I was running. Just had to smack my head all the time to keep them away……….hahaha. Still those long summer nights are awesome. Cold even though it is summer, but once you live there for a long while you don’t feel the cold.

Enjoy it mate. I love that country and their people. My 2nd home. Love going there, always enjoy it. Like I have said here many times, all my Scots friend too come over here every year as well. Had a couple over here in April and last year in October had two couples over. The year before only a couple came for a week as they travelled to a few wc games here. Have a few coming in March next year again. Always enjoy them, bu they are ‘party animals’ hahahaha. Jeez they can party……hehe. Good fun though.

  • 233

    231 @ Just For Kicks:
For sure agree. That is where the Scots are different to the English. Then they don’t play cricket. Well a very, very small minority do.

  • 234

230 @ JanMurrayBok:No, not at all, just look at their consistency tonight. England have been piss poor. The only redeeming factor for Parnell is that his good balls have taken wickets! He’s just too erratic. Peterson has taken about 50 wickets in as many matches. He’s steady eddie. I have no problem with him in the team, if the rest of the bowling attack is balanced. But it’s not. All the quickies are too erratic. We don’t have a Philander or Pollock who can bowl so miserly. We don’t have a medium pacer like Kallis.

Don’t get me wrong, these are great players, it just doesn’t seem a balanced attack. It’s a bit like playing 3 big ball carriers in the loose!!!!!!!!!!

  • 235

Patel, you beauty!!!! At least bringing a bit of spice to the match!

  • 236

Jeez 20 runs off the last over… that’s not good….

  • 237

Come on Morkel get that last wicket and end their misery…..hehehe.

  • 238

All out… Morkel gets his man

  • 239

  • 240

Patels cameo is over, one swing too many. Caought AB, bowled Morkel for 45
