7 bowlers used, and Faf can turn his arm too
Now Jan Serfontein and Francois Venter in line for a Bok call up. If this is true, then I really will be lost for words
Eish McLarren is bowling like a spray gun….
Oh, and Ruan Botha on his way to Western Province. Lions Haemorrhaging?
182 @ Just For Kicks:
Says who?
184 @ Just For Kicks:
They’ve now lost 5 in the space of a week
185 @ grootblouBokJan:Your mate Tank Lanning, and a few other tweets. Lanning thinks they’re in and Vermeulen on his way back to WP for the weekend
187 @ Just For Kicks:
My mate Tank?
I don’t know the man from a bar of soap… and I think he tends to shoot his freegin mouth off.
Back from dinner.
Okay we have got 5 wickets here and probably should win this. Though they have enough overs to get the runs if they keep their wickets. Still think it is our game to lose here we really should win it.
Go Boys!
188 @ grootblouBokJan:That was said tongue in cheek, but most of what he says is pretty spot on
182 @ Just For Kicks:
How who says? Serfontein superb player but so very young still. Would be foolish of Meyer just to through him in the deep end here. Should take him on the eoyt first.
191 @ PumaSpringbokJan:
Sorry not through meant – THROW him in the deep end.
191 @ PumaSpringbokJan:
Jan Serfontein is yet to prove himself in Currie Cup… and at the Bulls he seems to be behing Ulrich Beyers and Johan Sadie in the pecking order.
The talent might be there but it needs to be nurtured and developed first
Run rate creeping up – 7.5 per over now. Still need to bowl miserly, choke up the runs. That will make them have to take a few risks. Morgan going well, and going to open up very soon if we don’t get his wicket
190 @ Just For Kicks:
Neewat, daai ou is ‘n leë blik… die leegste blikke maak die meeste geraas.
Ek sal dit glo as ek die offisieele aankondiging hoor, en dan daaroor bitch en moan
@ PumaSpringbokJan:Hopefully, as GBS says, it’s just pie in the sky
184 @ Just For Kicks:
I heard on e-news the other day that Elton Jantjies is on this way to Sharks. Now that would not be good for Saffa rugby. Think he should be on his way to Province/Stormers as we have Lambie. AND NO WAY do I want Lambie to be messed about any further, he must be Sharks 1st choice flyhalf.
Then it is good having two excellent fhs, just that one will always be sitting on the bench and losing game time. Or Lambie will take the fall, as he is really good in many positions and will play FB. Pat must start at fh next year for Sharks no matter who comes.
We need 2 good wickets… then their tail is seriously in
196 @ Just For Kicks:
Could be. Then so many other rumours just flying about. Especially about the Lions players.
Sharks could do with Pat Cilliers coming back. He covers both sides of the scrum and would be a bonus to have a player of his quality back. He is a Durban boy too. Hope he comes back home to the Tank.
There must be some centre injuries… if the rumours are true
Fransie Steyn and Jean de Villiers??
200 @ PumaSpringbokJan:
Pat Cilliers is signed at the Lions till end of 2013
Wickettttttt
Morgan is GONE!
Morgan goes, and that before the power play. Stupid shot. Caught Elgar, bowled Duminy 27. Eng 159/6
193 @ grootblouBokJan:
Serfontein is a superb talent and agree it has to be nurtured. That is always the right way to bring the youngsters through.
Man I am going to enjoy these youngsters when they can play Super Rugby probably next year. Also when they play for Boks because they will, they are that talented. BUT PLEASE don’t blunt their creative style with kick and chase. We have brilliant players at that level that can play what is in front of them. Looking forward to seeing them all play together. That Junior WC team were superb all of them, except the scrumhalf.
Whooooohoooooo. We could wrap this up very quick now. 6 wickets down.
…and Bresnan gone for a duck. Caught Ab. Bowled Parnell. Eng 159/7
For the first time in the match, Parnell looks dangerous. Couldn’t have come a moment sooner. Swann gone for a duck too. Caught Ab. Bowled Parnell. Eng 159/8
Whoop!
England 159 / 8
Hehehe
Fark, wickets falling so fast, struggling to keep score updated! – I’m not complaining though!!!
