    @ grootblouBokJan:
Hey I agree, But you see jantjes wont get a chance either, with Meyer it’s all about his way, thus he wants the provincial coaches to get together to discuss his style etc and wants it to be a unified thing.

Sorry but as far as i am concerned the Sharks would be mad in their heads the stop their way of playing to follow HM.

86 @ PumaSpringbokJan:Very friendly – it is a problem with the accent when you get over to the left side of Scotland – Glasgow and the South West, took me about ten years to understand what they were saying – especially after a few whiskeys under the belt!

    80 @ grootblouBokJan:
If Meyer says Lambie has to up his kicking game for Tests I can tell you he will be thinking the same about Jantjies. Jantjies simply does not have a good kicking game AT ALL. The game plan that Meyer wants to play does not suit Lambie or Jantjies and for that matter Goosen. He will select Coosen probably and it will mess up his game that is for sure, unless Meyer changes his game plan. BUT whether Lambie had not enough game time before the tests, Meyer rated him. Well he said he did, so he should have given him even 10min game time in each test to see what he has. Then he knows when he brought Lambie in to play at fb what he had. In these two tests he should have given Lambie 10min at FH. Doubt it would made us play any worse, he might have made us play a lot better, my feeling, especially with Ruan on.

Anyhow our game plan will have to change. Felt like we had come out of 20 isolation and had no clue how to play rugby when I watched our game in the last two weeks. To think we played some very exciting rugby in the 2nd half of the first test against England and the first half of the 2nd test. Why we went to this super kak agains Arg damn I have no idea.

Just tell me how do you know how Heyneke wants to evolve the game… who says he does’nt have a more open style in mind in the long run?

In Afrikaans noem ons jou ‘n Ongelowige Thomas….

  • 95

    Amla is on fire now

  • 96

    @ grootblouBokJan:
Well selecting the way he does tells one that, when you go into a test with 3 loose forwards who actually are all very simular, and then seeing his flying playing to instructions which is pretty clear tells a whole story,

en noem my maar ongelowinge Tyrone 😆

    91 @ MaakieSharksAlmalBokkeseJan:

Crikey if Sharks play this insane rugby plan that Meyer wants Boks to play. I will just watch bowls…………hahahahaha. That is how bad it is to watch our Boks right. NO way must Sharks play this game plan. NEVER, we have come a far way this year and never ever must we go back to this style the Boks are playing ever.

  • 98

The # gets his ton. Well done lad, good on ya!!!!

  • 99

    87 @ JanMurrayBok:
    Bullscot?

Remember Piet and I are the oldies here. We do get confused………….hahahahahahaha.

    93 @ PumaSpringbokJan:
Just remember, the Pumas play a very negative and spoiling game… but be assured I agree, certain fundamentals will have to change.

We need to keep ball in hand, not kick it away, and we need to value the breakdowns much more than we do… for a start.

… but slow change and evolution I suppose is the way to go, radical change will result in a Lions type situation, as played under Dickie Muir….

  • 101

    91 @ MaakieSharksAlmalBokkeseJan:
Jantjies has less of the kicking game than Lambie has that Meyer wants. I doubt he will get game time either.
Also not as good as Lambie in defence. Very good fh though, but is not a kicking fh.

    88 @ Just For Kicks:
Yes for sure will be good to watch a game with you guys and maybe enjoy a pint before or after in a pub, international games are good to watch in Edinburgh, maybe so also want to go up and watch Glasgow Warriors play Pro12 and Heineken Cup rugby, they start in their new ground Scotstoun this season and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the level of passionate support they get from their home crowd, never managed to get to watch them in Glasgow yet though but have met up with some of their fans at international games and also gauged from watching on TV, seems like they have a nice bunch of fans. At a level just below that you may want to follow Ayr in the Scottish Premier league, they probably the nearest big team to you, play in the same league as the club up here.

  • 103

Looks like its going well with the cricket, got to get busy here, will just ‘loer’ in now and again.

  • 104

We must keep upping the run-rate… at this rate we’ll be lucky to get 280…. and I feel we should edge closer to 300 and maybe a bit more

  • 105

We will have to up our run rate otherwise doubt we will have enough.

  • 106

94 @ grootblouBokJan:I think you are right, HM will evolve his game. But only because he will be forced to. If he had in mind that he wanted a different style, I truly believe he would have told us his intentions, and would have started the process already. We can clearly see that this isn’t the case, and he has his mind set on this current style. If we knew that his intentions were to change the style of play, the rugby mad supporters in SA would be far more forgiving when we play poor games like over the weekend, and he knows that.

By the way, the rumours are abound that Deans has quit his post with the Wallabies, anyone heard anything? They say he would rather run away than face the firing squad, but I don’t know if there is any truth to the rumours

  • 107

    Amla is playing superbly!

  • 108

102 @ JanMurrayBok:Its a date then, and when Puma come over, we’ll all descend Edinburgh or Glasgow for a ‘biggie’ and then some rugby too!

  • 109

AB comes down the wicket and is bowled by Swann for 28. Justice though, he should have been out in the last over.

  • 110

    106 @ Just For Kicks:
    I’ve heard NOTHING on Deans….

I personally think it was difficult to put any new structures in place against a spoiling team like the Pumas.

There were early signs, one half in the 1st England Test and one half in the 2nd England Test where the Bokke actually played very good ball-in-hand rugby.

  • 111

6 Overs to go… guess it’s safe to say we’ll fall short of 300

  • 112

I’m going to stick my neck out here – will probably come back to bite me badly, and I know I will get a lot of stick for saying it, but I don’t think that HM will make his contract. He will resign before it is up.

  • 113

    92 @ Just For Kicks:

I know, but I understand them all well. No matter which side of Scotland or whether I have had a few glasses of wine or not. Great people. Fun and probably have the best sense of humour, and that is the best thing I enjoy about the Scots. Is their sense of humour. They find humour in everything…lol.

  • 114

110 @ grootblouBokJan:It’s coming through from some Aussie commentators.

  • 115

    112 @ Just For Kicks:
It’s possible…. but then again, he stuck it out in difficult years at the Bulls, till he got them right

  • 116

    114 @ Just For Kicks:
Keep abreast of it… and pen an Article when it happens… please.

I’m working like a galley slave here

  • 117

    108 @ Just For Kicks:
    Sounds good man Approve

  • 118

    112 @ Just For Kicks:
You know I have that same feeling. I doubt he can take the stress. Well it looks like that when you see him almost smashing his walkie talkie to his mouth. Jeez he looks angry and nervous all the time. Not good he needs to stay calm.

No job is worth that amount of stress really.

  • 119

    244 / 4 after 45 overs

5 Overs to go… can we make it 10 an over?

  • 120

    115 @ grootblouBokJan:
This time the whole country is focused on him. Much worse stress being a Bok coach boeta. I know if I had the skills to be a coach I would never take the Bok Coach job on. Not ever. We a rugby crazy country and none of us have the patience if our Boks are losing. The stress must be huge in this job. No Bok coach has truly enjoyed it I think.
