Carter definitely one of the chinks in the Crusader armour today
Only hope for a saffer win is if the Chiefs have to travel to Cape Town. Can’t see the Sharks travelling to NZ after a tough semi and beating a team like this in their own backyard.

nah you must try persuade her to join in and watch it with you, say its like a trip to the theatre – opening Ceremony on tonight certainly sounds like they have some good theatrics planned. Oscar Pistorious has been in the news a fair bit over here, was interested to see that he is in the main Olympics even after not making the ‘A’ qualification time for SA team, seems like he was included as part of 4X400m relay squad, wonder if he will make the final four that runs in that relay, what a great sportsman he is though! Always sounds so cool in interviews.
Well done to the Chiefs.
Always was gonna be a close game this, thought Saders with the experience would just win. Great to see the Chiefs win though.
@ bdb:
Eggzaggerly. Best for SA would have been if the Sharks could have hosted the final!
183 @ The_Young_Turk:
You know that is irritating me a lot. Where ever I look on every rugby blog they all saying only if Sharks lose can we hope for a saffa team to win. So must Sharks lay down dead now so Stormers can beat the Chiefs? Is that what everyone is saying? No buddy, we in it to win it. Travel or not, tired or not, we only out of it if we lose tomorrow. If we win I can tell you the players in that Sharks team will believe in themselves to win it. We will be running on adrenalin. Travel or not.
If Sharks lose then of course I will be 100% behind the Stormers, until then I am 100% behind my team to go all the way. While Sharks are in it they too have a chance.
Fellas, let’s just chase this one beyond 200… then I’m off to Hazyview!
188 @ Puma:
Best team must win tomorrow, whether it is the Sharks or the Stormers!
Sharks CAN take the Chiefs in Hamilton… if they set their mind to it
@ Puma:
Of course mate. Understand your frustration. We are all just expressing our opinion which in fact doesn’t differ from your own. While you are getting frustrated with the feeling that we want the Sharks to lose, it’s just that we are desperate for a saffer win…
193 😆
Now thaT WAS CLOSE 194
Well… now it’s down to only 3 sides…
Saders almost came back in the end… it was almost close enough for a Carter drop goal to take it into Extra Time
And if the Sharks do win tomorrow we will be behind them 110% in the final. They are definitely the best all round and form saffer team at the moment. It’s just a pity that they left it so late. If they had ended up in 4th place on the log, they would only have had to travel the once.
188/191: fight fight ! … en hierdie keer is die Bulle onskuldig ! 😉
Another thing Sharks played the Chiefs straight after they flew back from NZ. We lost to them by one point if I remember or it could have been two. We SHOULD have won that game, we would have had we had another ref and not a kiwi ref. So we played this team tired then too and after been away from home for 4 weeks and a long haul travel too. SHARKS CAN DO IT. Dammit it makes me angry to see everyone saying my team has no chance. WE DO.
I think it will be harder to win tomorrow than beating the Chiefs. Here we know each others game far to well. Sharks have the team to beat the Chiefs and so do the Stormers.
Go Sharkies for tomorrow.
2 Super Rugby Games left for the season…
Folks, this is me out… have to go
Goooooooooooi Mieliesssssss!
… and the 200 was MINE!
190 @ grootblousmile:
Of course we can. We have a magnificent team playing top class rugby right now. We can boeta. We should have beaten them at the tank after we returned from NZ. WE had a kiwi ref that day. We lost by one or two points. We were the better team then too and we had not even hit our straps yet.
Tjorts!
201 @ grootblousmile:
I almost had it……. 😛
I am a Stormer supporter but the national side and SA rugby in general takes precedence for me. So I hope that the better Sffer team wins tomorrow. If the Sharks end up being the better team, they will deservr to contest the final and if they do manage to win there it will rank as the greatest win in the history of the competition. Not impossible, and it would be the first time that this would have been achieved.
Come on BigCat, Bidibi wants to see a fight, so put on your boxing gloves and lets rumble!
191 @ The_Young_Turk:
I would like a saffa team to win too. Right now we still have two in it. Let us first see who makes it, whoever does then we get 100% behind that team. Whether it is Sharks or Stormers after tomorrow we all support that team. Done deal okay?
206 @ The_Young_Turk:
Not gonna happen…..
