Yip, great player in open play, strong and nippy….but he gets bogged down behind the scrums. @ Puma:
At least I get the consolation 300 again… hehehe
Oh well that’s hard to have lost but congratulations Crusaders, hope Sharks do better. Even though had said last week that think winner this year would be Chiefs or Crusaders still hoped somehow we could win today.
@ Puma:
yUP bOET, NERVOUS AS HELL
Rest well Bulls… the bodies and the minds needs it, badly.
No Bulls player stands out, having had a good game, but Morné Steyn certainly had a very poor game today.
Puma, you’re missing my point.
Refs, just like the players will make mistakes. However, we supporters have the opportunity to assess what or who contributed to our team’s success or failure.
And we choose to believe the same things all the time: if our side wins then our players get the credit. However, should our side lose we blame the ref!
We should move on a bit from these mindsets, don’t you think?
Congrats Bulls on a great season after loosing so many staatmakers!
You’ll be stronger for the experience next year.

#264 – stem
Mac Mesina = Doos
Ag no thats a shame just seen the bad news of detail of Bjorn Basson’s injury from Blue Bulls on facebook, it must have been nasty, as I didn’t watch the game can anyone say how he picked up the injury please? All the best to Bjorn hope he recovers soon and doesn’t suffer too much. Here is the message: “Vodacom Bulls winger Bjorn Basson underwent surgery in New Zealand on Sunday after he sustained a tear to his intestines during his side’s 28-13 loss to the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday.
Basson was forced off the field during the first half of the play-off match, the third injury the visitors sustained in the opening forty minutes.
He was operated upon at 03h00 Sunday morning (NZ time).
B…asson will remain in hospital for at least another five days and will have to stay in New Zealand for five more days before he will be able to fly long haul, Blue Bulls Company CEO Barend van Graan confirmed on Sunday.
“Our team doctor, Org Strauss, stayed behind to look after Bjorn when the rest of the squad departed for home via Sydney,” Van Graan confirmed.
“We have informed his wife of his injury which will keep him off the field for at least six weeks.”
The Bulls will arrive back in Johannesburg on Monday at 16h15.
Medical updates will be provided as they become available.”
Maybe Le Roux can get a chance now who for me is one of the most under rated wingers in this country. But hey who’s going to choose Freestate wingers to play for SA.
Please guys leave Morne alone. Like I said the Bulls pack who use to dominate the opposition is not there anymore. Steyn is now having to play behind a losing pack and is struggling. That what pissed me off about the commentary going on about Carter. Not only did they fail to notice his pack bullied the Bulls but they also fail to realize that Carter have never in his life played behind a losing pack. Never ever.
