Waar is julle blikskottels?? busy drowning ur sorrows??
@ sharky_forever:Great minds…!
@ Just For Kicks:
KP on, time for a tonk, me thinks
Kallis 71* and Amla 176* scores tied
@ Just For Kicks:
Naahh boet we need to keep cool heads, they must be at the crease 2morrow
SA in the lead with 9 runs and 5 overs left in the day. Kallis needs 26 for his century and the # needs 18 for his double. Only 2 wickets down. All looking pretty rosy for the Proteas at the moment
Whats with Sally Broad and looking to the right in his run up. You’re not going to put the # off, my friend
Trott into the attack, now in my opinion, we should really open up a bit
Great third days play by SA, only 1 wicket to fall, that of Captain Courageous for 131 – and a great innings at that, for 317 runs. Amla finishes on 183 – just 17 runs away from a double ton, and King Kallis on 82, 18 away from yet another century.
Good stuff boys, lets hammer it home in the morning – I know where I’ll be for most of tomorrow!!!
I would have loved if Kallis went after the tired bowlers and got his ton. We must bat Aussie style tomorrow, get at least 3.7 runs per over and blow them apart late afternoon.
The Hash moves to 198, wait for it folks……
….. And there it is, and very well worked double ton for the Hash with that offside drive for 2. 201 runs off 392 balls. Congrats
Into the second session of Day 4 at The Oval : SA 501/2!!! Amla 240 and Kallis 123 cashing in big time. Thats a lead of 116 runs, the last ten overs have yielded 52 runs so looks like they are accelerating well, could they be 250 ahead by tea and declare or would they like to heap more pressure on England and have them facing a 300 run deficit but then give the bowlers less time to try get England out?
Thats 10 runs off over 163 great stuff!
With that four off the last ball of over 163 Mr Amla brings up his 250 well done man.
@ Bullscot:
Oeps sorry got a bit ahead of myself its only lunch time now : SA 514/2; 129 runs ahead. Hopefully it will be 20/20 type scoring in the next session to set up a good declaration score, will they focus on team or individual milestones?
Hello Folks, what a lovely lazy day for me…….
SA A bowlers just look as ordinary as SA bowlers. How can they be no 1?
Amla on 298…
Kallis on 162
Go for the Tripple Ton Amla!
Amla already has the highest EVER score for a SA Batsman
Amla on 299…
Amla goes to 303… and is dropped in the process…. phweeew
Whoop, whooop!
Now the 2 Batsmen must open up… hope to see a Kallis 200 as well before the declaration
WELL DONE AMLA. What a magnificent knock getting 300. Take a bow young man, we here in South Africa sulute you.
144 @ Puma:
salute
144 @ Puma:
Yip, very well done… England being batted senseless by the 2 Saffas!
Think we need to declare after tea.
Go Proteas.
10 Minutes or so till Tea on Day 4
146 @ grootblousmile:
I am loving every minute of it too!
The 2 SA batsmen trying to hit the big shots now… obiously quite close to a declaration
