88 @ grootblousmile: Don’t, heres some action. Anderson has taken new ball. Hold on to the edge of your seats!
Biff’s score on Nelson…
Fark, what’s with all these Nelson’s.
These 2 batsmen have been in for 122 runs.. Double Nelson.
Biff get’s a run… Nelson’s gone… hehehe
91 @ Just For Kicks:
Yawn… hahaha
@ grootblousmile:Watching Sally Broad, I may have got that wrong!
94 @ Just For Kicks:
Skinny runt, the freegin Broad fella
Nee jussie… nou gaan ek bietjie doedoe… sal meer aksie daar kry!
Smith goes eventually. Playing on from a Bresnans first ball of the new spell with the new ball. Well done Biff, captains innings
Smith Bowled Bresnan, 131 off 273 balls. SA 260/2
@ Just For Kicks:
Howdy JFK sounds like a very good innings from Smith battled his way to 50 but stuck at it and then accelerated nicely
SA still more than 100 runs behind so Kallis maybe should play cautiously for next hour and then get dfter the bowling if he is still in, Amla should be well set by now to lead the run scoring for the next while…
Oh well shows what I know King Kallis already on 10 off 11 balls!
Tea on day 3.
SA 277/2 after 92 overs
So the run rate seems to have gone just above 3 now
@ Bullscot:Hi Bully, yup, a pretty slow match, and one the will probably dribble out to a draw. Our only hope is for Eng to do something in the last session, otherwise the next 2 days could be as boring as the 1st and 3rd!
102 @ Bullscot:The highest of the match so far!
Hey JFK if you wanted exciting cricket you should have followed the county game not long over between Durham and Sussex (the team I support), Sussex only needed 98 to win but were in troublefrom early on 27/4 and then slumped to 50/7 but managed to reach 94/8 with only Monty Panesar waiting to bat, phew that was a close one!
@ Bullscot:I was following it on the net, when they were 8 down it looked very tight, and could have gone either way
103 @ Just For Kicks:
If SA could somehow be about 250 ahead by tea tomorrow then there may still be result these two need to stay there for a while and then accelerate will be good if de Villiers only came in at least after Sa ahead then he can blast away and maybe Dumminy then comes in ahead of Rudolph
106 @ Just For Kicks:
Thats good was able to ‘follow’ till they were somewhere in 40’s then only saw they had won later. Didnt know you followed the domestic game here, which county is yours JFK?
@ Bullscot:The mighty Somerset!!!!! Only because my best mate lives in Taunton, and thats where I always go when I am in the UK
108 @ Bullscot:Just seen some great stats on twitter, will try to find them, hang on…
@ Bullscot: DE VILLIERS STAT ALERT: ABdeV from a platform: v Aus 08-09, came in at 322-3, hit 163 off 196; v WI 2010, in at 283-3, hit 135* off 168…
ABdeV STAT (cont.): … v Ind 10-11, came in at 396-3, hit 129 off 112… v SL 11-12, came in at 261-3, hit 160* off 205. England beware.
….So maybe we could still see some fireworks yet!
If the Boys can knock off these 100 odd runs to get to the English score, I feel we may well see a De Villiers onslaught
JFK thanks interesting stats, don’nt have twitter, thats the kind of thing was talking about. Somerset seems a nice place think they were a good team quite a while back, think Smith played for them and maybe Alfonso Thomas too? Nearest have been to there is Bristol airport
SA 309/2 after 103 and a half overs, Amla 145* Kallis 26*
Amla gets his 150 off 294 balls. Kudos to the man
SA trail by just 49 now
….and King Kallis gets his half century.
50 Runs off 94 balls. SA 353/2
Proteas going great guns @ 377-2
now trail by only 7 with 8 wickets in hand
SA trail by 7 with a few more overs still to play
