Been following the action with half an eye… one finger… and a very busy mind!

    @ Bullscot:
Agreed on the ‘home comforts’…..quality of life non-existant over here, but somehow us Saffas and also the Scots stick it out (compared to the Yanks and Poms), we are a durable bunch (as was shown on the sport fields around the globe the past few days!

No, jokes aside, stay there bro…ask Puma, he did his spell here. (Faark, today is 63 and dust storms all over the place with no beer…..uiters kuk, ek se jou!

    263 @ Just For Kicks:
I think that was the key JFK, for a time it sounds like it was hard going out there for Smith and Amla but they just knuckled down and gave the ball the respect it was due and played proper test cricket then once they were set and the batting conditions got a bit easier they accelerated. I think too many players have got caught up in the smash bash of 20 overs cricket these days and want to score too quickly at the wrong time in test cricket, this will be a good lesson for them

Come on Ama-Blomme… plant the knock-out punch now… while I’m relaxing with a Kameeltjie and a Coke

  • 275

Stowwerige Pieta…. as jy sukkel word jy ‘n sukkelaar… so moenie sukkel nie!

    272 @ Pietman:
Jinne sounds tough out there Pietman, for me the opportunities have come knocking from the UAE where it sounds may a little easier than you have it, but it has been for full time and not part time/contract stuff and for all the money in the world would not want to leave family behind here and ‘commute’ that distance to work

  • 279

Flok, we MUST beat them by an innings…. come on boys!

  • 280

Really to get going here, with one wicket needed and still 36 overs left for the day’s play really hope to check in later and see SA have won it, hopefully without needing to bat. Once its over and all you folk are still online you may be interested to read the latest article put up, I certainly thought it was interesting and good news, now how is that for shameless promotion Happy cheers all, GO PROTEAS!!

    264 @ Pietman:
Kanko has been sublime in the 3 games he has started. The whole team have been top class though. Read a great article by Tony on SuperSport. There is another will have to remember the name of the bloke that wrote another article I read this morning.

Yeah this will be a very different game. Though Sharks smashed them at KP. That score just flattered them really. Should have been 25-6 to Sharks that game. Remember Freddie threw a pass straight into Aplons hands and gifted him a try and another blatant forward pass that gave Aplon another try. Two tries that should never have been. We ran them ragged there too bru. Though doubt it will be like that this week. Legs may be really tired this week. Also too much at stake now. Just have to see.

  • 284

@ Bullscot:Cheers, mate, have a good day at work!

  • 285

SA only leads by 18, cutting it fine now for an innings win…

  • 286

    264 @ Pietman:
Piet go to SuperSport and read:

Tony Johnson – Sharks on a roll

Steve Morris – The revolution must start now

Two very good reads especially the Steve Morris article about the Boks.

  • 287

SA needs one pearler of a ball… or one Pommie error…

  • 288

SA may well have to bat again. England 13 behind. The tail has wagged!

  • 289
