I believe this is Nathan Sharpe’s last game.
A true legend of the game. I see Vic matfield rate him as the best lock he ever played against; the two of them have been competing line-outs since their U/20 days.
Sharp and Eben Etzebeth were picked for the World 15 after the recent winter tours, a great honour for our young man from the Cape to find himself in such esteemed company.
Goooooooooo Rugby!
See just now… just doing the needed quality checks outside quickly.
Go Jake’s Brumbies.
@ Pietman:
1
Read that Piet. Proud of Etzebeth so young and doing really well. Needs a rest before the RC though. Think AC will manage him from here. Also JPP, Bissie and Beast were selected. Proud of our boys.
Gbs, Where is Turkey? He normally here when the live games are on.
@ Puma:
On Reunion, they “made” their best current team, out of all the players in the June internationals and they had Etzebeth in their team. High praise for such a young guy.
Brumbies too good for the Force.
@ Puma:
Howzit Puma.
Yes, back here for a while, you know how these locals operate, nothing is ever for sure, you have to lean on them….
Brumbies on fire here. Jake worked wonders with them, after their poor showing last year.
Fark, had trouble outside… needed to be avaoided, and re-routed
They cut one granite top 4cm too short, I made it clear it was not acceptible… I want what I want, and need to get what I want!
Sorry!
Brumbies up to 12 / 0 Force, already
7@ bdb:
BdB Canes are on 49
49@ Pietman:
Thought you were back in the Cape for 2 months. How long you in Saudi for this time Piet? Yeah with those guys you just never know.
7@ bdb:
Okay see you have included the Canes 4 bye points for next week.
12 @ Puma:
Pietman’s stay in SA was cut a bit short, those arabs in Saudi can’t function properly without him there… but he’ll be coming to SA in not too long from now again
7@ bdb:
Sharks are below the Reds bdb, they have won more games than us. So that puts them just above us. Also doubt Reds will lose any of their last games at home. Next week they have Landers then think their last game is the Tahs.
14@ grootblousmile:
Yeah I know what it is like to work with them. You just never know.
Think Piet will be pleased to see the back of Saudi eventually. Good place to earn good money, but a really horrilbe place to be.
Brumbies back on attack… 3m out
16 @ Puma:
Pietman is a true South African, this country calls him hard when he’s in SAUDI or wherever else in the world.
He’s a man of Africa… like me
Brumbies scrum penalty, was a strong scrum by them, pushed the Farce metres
Ciao a tutti!
Missed left by Zack Holmes
20 @ The_Young_Turk:
Hey, where’ve you been….
Jy moenie IN rugby tyd pomp nie… jy moet BLOG!
Try Henry Speight for the Brumbies
18: wat is sy gunsteling lied ?
Toto se ‘Africa’ ?
Brumbies 17 / 0 Force
So Canes and Saders both still to play Chiefs. If both beat the Chiefs, then Saders will still stay in the play offs. Canes have a bye next week and only pick up 4 points. Where as Saders still to play Force in their last game and should pick up 5 points there. Or if Saders beat Chiefs and Canes lose they out of it. For now it looks like this is how it will end:
Chiefs
Stormers
Brumbies
Saders
Bulls
Reds
Reds have two easy games to come. Still could end up different the last 6 just have to wait and see.
20@ The_Young_Turk:
Howzit Turk,
Wondered where you were…hehe. You normally here when the live games are on.
24 @ bdb:
Nee, ons Nasional Lied…. en daarnaas, die liedjie “Hasie, hasie bloubal”… hehehehe
@ grootblousmile:
I’ve been afraid to blog lately because everytime I’ve been thinking what a useless tosser, pons and wanker Morne Stain is, I get these stabbing pains in my back, sides and abdomen as Bidibi jabs those needles into the doll he made to represent me
Check how quickly Nick White cleans up behind the Brumbies’ scrum….we should senf Hougaardt over there for a few lessons.
