Would love to have seen Nick Fenton-Wells start instead of Sinclair

  • 2

    1 @ Just For Kicks:
The Sharks really targeted Sinclair… and it worked.

So, I have to agree with you that Fenton-Wells might have been better, but luckily for us Bulls, the Stormpoppies went with the Cannuck.

    1 @ Just For Kicks:
I see you and me had the same idea to put this Article up… I was just a bit quicker on the draw… so I’ve removed your attempt…

The Bulls are quicker, you should know that… hehehe

  • 4

@ grootblousmile:I stopped working on it an hour ago, when I saw you reappear, otherwise it would have been up faster than Basson on speed!

  • 5

2@ grootblousmile:Well, at least you can’t target Langbek this week, hehehe

  • 6

    4@ Just For Kicks:
    Gooooooooooooo Bulls!

    Moer hulle!

  • 7

    4 @ Just For Kicks:
Will be interesting to see how the 2 teams approach this game.

Crunch game for both sides, could determine the Conference winners!

  • 8

    nee wat,
in alle eerlikheid dink ek nie ons gaan d game wen nie!!
    ons
    word seker weer heelaand gestraf
    omdat
ons spelers die bulls spelers se make-up bemors!!
    dan word ons
seker nog ge-f*kken geelkaart ook as pierre spies se pienk lintjie loskom!!
flok, o flok, o flok!! Cry

No game between the Bulls and Stormers is a given… just last year the Stormers beat the Bulls at Loftus, whilst the Bulls beat the Stormers at Newlands.

I think the Bulls should win the lineout contests, whereas the Stormers will be much more IN the Bulls faces on defence.

Scrums should be edged by the Bulls… but the breakdowns… anybody’s guess??

With no Joe Pietersen for the Stormers, Bulls must just be very wily and diciplined in their own half, not giving Chippie Grant shots at goal, whereas the Stormers would have to be careful from anywhere closer than 55m out.

Bulls dicipline is a worry for me… but Dewald Potgieter rarely infringes, CJ Stander is careful enough… the worry lies with Flip & Dean Greyling mostly.

On the Stormers side, Tiaan Liebenberg & Rynhardt Elstadt are 2 penalty merchants for the opposing team.

    @ ashley:
๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† ashweeeee, wat se jy ou groote?? long time no chat, alles goes aan jou kant??? behalwe natuurlik die fyt dat my Sharks met julle Sushi gemaak het ๐Ÿ˜†

  • 11

@ grootblousmile:add brok and fourie to that list

  • 12

    11 @ sharky_forever:
Bulls have been conceeding most penalties of all the Super Rugby Franchises, this year… but you’re right, Verbrokkel Harris & Deon Fourie are also risks as far as ill dicipline goes, they however are benchers this weekend.

  • 13

If you guys are bring to instil a bit of confidence into me about the Stormers, then you’re failing badly. I’m with Ash on this one. Goooo Junior Boks!

  • 14

Only the MTN Lions & The Sharks team sheets not available yet, the rest is up!

  • 15

MTN Lions team sheet also now added

  • 16

ALL the team sheets are now up!

  • 17

Very interesting to see Butch James in, expect some fireworks!

  • 18

    17 @ Just For Kicks:
I would suspect the Lions had no option but to play Butch (The wandering BrainFart), with Taute out and injured for a while.

See the Sharks are without Jordaan & Pieter-Steph du Toit, because of Junior Bokke duty too and JP Pietersen at No 13 again.

I see we have a visitor reading the web site from the wonderful little town of Sedgefield, between Wilderness & Knysna….

Send regards to my friends, Clive Bouwer, his ex-wife Charmaine (nee Doubell), Sandy Smith (nee Salt)…. and all my other Bozo friends down there…

    @ grootblousmile:

    Big farkin’ brother!!

  • 22

    21 @ Blue Bird:
    Huh?

    Double Huh?

  • 23

    @ grootblousmile:

    Sedgefield?

  • 24

    23 @ Blue Bird:
Wonderful little coastal town in the Southern Cape, a real Sleepy Hollow at the coast, with lovely lakes all around, wonderful places to waterski, windsurf, fish… marvelous prestine white sandy beaches.

One of my favourite places in the country!

    Google it!

  • 25

    @ grootblousmile:

I think I have been there!!

Have been to Wilderness and Kynsna too !! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • 26

Actually en route to Plettenberg….very pleasant spot !! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • 27

    25 @ Blue Bird:
That area is known as the Garden Route…. all the way from Mosselbay and all the way up the coast to near enough to Port Elizabeth.

Wilderness is about 15km away from George, which is a small coastal city with an International Airport (at a stretch) and everything, Sedgefield is about 30 or 40km or so from Wilderness and Knysna is about another 25km or so further away.

Knysna is over commercialized in my opinion, but nevertheless very, very pretty… property is massively expensive there.

  • 28

    @ grootblousmile:

Actually, you should get a passport and see the world.

There are some great places outside Africa!

  • 29

    26 @ Blue Bird:
Plettenberg Bay is about 40km from Knysna…. and a little bit further than that is the famous Bloukrans River Bridge, where they have the world’s highest commercial bungi jump… 116m high if I remember correctly, nestled in the Tsitsikama Forest areas.

I’ve done that bungi jump…. maybe you remember, I had some photo’s up here on Rugby-Talk of my jump last year Feb.

    28 @ Blue Bird:
    All in good time…
