@ fender:Hi Fender, now that brings back some memories!!!
Ireland back to 15 (player sent off just before half time, and now have a penalty 46m out to the right. Pushed to the right.
59@ fender:
hahaha. Same here, so never bother with my phone.
Howzit JfK,
Wales just can’t string it together. Too many moves are ending in giving away penalties, and all inside the NZ 22
@ Puma:Hi Puma
Thought Wales may have had a chance here at the start, but NZ just too good. Hope we beat the Argies, then klap this lot in the final….hahaha.
Actually would love to see a Bokkie + BabyBlack final.
NZ all over Wales now, ends in a great try through the hands of most of the back line and half the forwards as well.
On the other side, England have now been handed a yellow card
Fantastic hands by the Blacks!
NZ miss the conversion
@ Puma:If we play like we did in the second half of the last match then we should beat the Argies
England held up over the line. Come back for the scrum, but pushing the Irish hard now
But it ends in disaster, as they concede a penalty, and a stern word for the ref with another official warning
Wales get a penalty and put the ball in touch 5m from the NZ line
Truck and trailer adjudged by the ref, no try, but awarded the scrum rather than the penalty
England have 2 yellows now, but only for a few more seconds
71@ Just For Kicks:
Yip if we play like the 2nd half from the start we should.
Was that a truck and trailer? I thought it was fine and a try.
Ireland clear from their own line, but are under tremendous pressure at the moment
77@ Puma:I couldn’t see from the replay where the t&t was!
NZ score another try through the forwards
Simple conversion goes astray
Wales unlucky not to score and then concede at the other end.
Die koeel deurie preekstoel I’m afraid, Wales…
The size of some of these U20 players make me think one of three things. Either they aren’t being wholly truthful about their age, there will be a serious shortage of steroids on the market very soon, or their mothers must have died at childbirth trying to bring these giants into the game, because they are just not ‘normal’!!!
Ireland score, followed by England getting one too
79 @ Just For Kicks:
No problem, I thought it was no truck and trailer and a good try. Anyhow not that it would have made a difference. ABs will win this.
@ fender: NZ brilliant at absorbing the pressure all match, then breaking out to score.
England concede another penalty, and Ireland opt for posts. 2 min left on the clock
Penalty pushed to the right. England throwing the kitchen sink, but knock on. Ireland scrum, 10 sec left, its all over for the Poms
And thats it for that match.
Final Score Ireland 27/12 England
NZ still happy to just absorb the pressure. 4 minutes left
