@ grootblousmile:
I see now How bru scoring works Smiles. It’s 2 points for picking the winning team in the top tier matches and 1 point when the minnows play.
420 @ bdb:
Mallett
They need de-worming though
423 @ bean1:
For freegin sure….
@ grootblousmile:
I’m prepared to grant you that. it’s just that Spoes has been playing so flou for the last 3 years now. When is he going to have an outstanding game?
Then we have to remember that this Bok team would not have beaten the ABs. HM has to be looking towards the Rugby Championship because that is where our true test will lie. England is just a warm up!
425 @ The_Young_Turk:
It depends what role is cut out and designed for him going forward from hereon…
I’ve been maintaining that they have all used Pierre a bit wrongly, outside his ambit of most devastating ability…
John Smits comment on Twitter: “Booya Bokke!Love it! Onward and upward!I never realized how hard it is to watch the Boks, respect to all of you out there,my nerves are shot!”
@ The_Young_Turk: Don’t sart getting us all down again Turky! I think we should just enjoy the win for a while.
426 @ The_Young_Turk:
Meyer now has weeks to improve, tweak, amplify, change little things…
Remember that Hanson, NZ Coach has been with the All Blacks as assitant coach for years now already…
@ grootblousmile:
Then they should rather play another player better suited to that role that they have in mind or if they want Spies change his role, not fark around hoping he will adapt.
@ Just For Kicks:
Love it
432 @ The_Young_Turk:
Who else that is not currently injured… a specialist No 8?
@ bdb:
Habs has been returning to form quite a while ago already. Today was just a culmination of that process. Spoes has been ordinary for 2 or 3 years now…
@ grootblousmile:
Why not Alberts and Brussouw at flank?
@ The_Young_Turk:
Or give Strauss a try!
435 @ The_Young_Turk:
You just LOVVEEEE to bash Spies… you and some others.
He was no weak point today, no problem area….
HM’s convinced me, I’m going out to buy a PVR tomorrow
436 @ The_Young_Turk:
Alberts is your blindsider and it obviously worked there for him… just look at today.
He plays blindside for the Sharks too.
Marcell Coetzee had a blinder of a game at openside flank…. did you listen to what Mallett said after the game?
@ grootblousmile:
Coetzee is actually an 8 as is Alberts
2 players I didn’t see tonight, Spoes and JP
6. Brussow
7. Jacques Potgieter
8. Alberts
Marcel is goed, maar hy is meer ‘n baldraer as ‘n fetcher. Ek glo nog in die klassieke fetcher, HM blykbaar nie.
in saying all that, i still say, only change i would make next week is !% and go with Lambie
441 @ sharky_forever:
Not at the moment, they’re not… not for the Sharks either, not in ONE game this season….
@ grootblousmile:
That’s really not it. I have absolutely nothing against the guy. Often just ribbing you! It’s the mindset of not changing and just sticking with some players for too long. Why not try with Josh Strauss and see if there is a difference? Surely he’s not going to be a massive disappointment. He may not turn out to be great but we know his strengths and they tally more to the game plan than Spies’s.
@ sharky_forever:
agreed
@ The_Young_Turk:Spoes is GBS’s love child. I’ve told you that before, you’d do well to remember it
442: meeste ouens was stil, net die basics gedoen, nie sleg nie net stil harde werk.
446 @ The_Young_Turk:
One only changes for the better… not just because you want to change something.
Now if Duane Vermeulen was’nt injured, or Schalla was’nt injured… then we might have a better No 8 going forward, but we don’t… until they return AND regain form.
