Springboks 36 / 27 England (Final score)
South Africa and England did battle in the Second Test at Coca-Cola Park, Johannesburg at 17:05 SA Time.
This was the live match discussion Article.
The match was broadcast LIVE on SuperSport 1, SHD & M-Net on TV in SA.
An effervescent Springbok side built up enough of a lead with 3 first half tries to keep the English winless in the series, which SA have now secured.
Man Of The match: JP Pietersen
The English can take heart from a spirited comeback that got them within 4 points of the Boks with less than 10 minutes to play. Their forwards particularly took the game to the Bokke in the second stanza who seemed to be somewhat disrupted by the substitution, both forced and tactical.

Bok line out in England 22…
Boks are recycling so well they deserve their own bin.
Penalty to the Boks. Morne to kick for posts.
87@ Blue Bird:
In the Cape with JFK and Pietman enjoying crayfish, yellowtail and other wierd food from the ocean depths.
Fark, Morne misses!
agge liewe flok tom Morne
Get Lambie to kick man
Nice catch and run by Spoes.
Pierre Spies doing well today as well
Can’t see Lambie making the 2nd half.
What a run by Spies? Made 50 metres there across the field…
Ai Morne, jy skop elke game met ander tokse, bly by die ou swart tokse ou maat.
Bissy having a good game, back to his best.
101@ fender:
Welcome “Guitar Man”
@ Scrumdown:

Goeie steel deur Morne, kort nog een drie voor halftyd.
Amper!! JPP? Nou wat nou?
Jp Poephol!!!
Wow, Bok almost through and JdV just stopped before the line.
106: Bismark
105@ bos_otter:
JPP to 15, Bjorn to the wing?
Commentators said they had run that combo at practice in the week.
Looks like a really good start here for Boks, GO BOKS!
Steyn to attempt a BIG kick at goal. 3 inside his half, BIG angle.
Just to the left.
Kom Tarzan (Frans) Steyn, skop hom oor !
Frans put through a nice grubber there. Boks look dangerous ever time they are in England’s half. This is no one-dimensional Bok rugby. This is the rugby supporters have been crying out for. Frans goes for a massive penalty but it’s not over. Still 25 – 10.
In the words of our fearless leader GBS “Lemoene”.
Amper !
sorry chaps…can’t chat much atm….got a wounded soldier…aka as my daughter on my lap….she ran into a lamp post 🙂
It’s so clear how the coach has worked on the players’ mistakes of the first match. Everything so much sharper. These Boks are better than the second half performance in the first match. Great to see.
Could have been a lot worse for Eng…taking missed kicks and close tries in consideration
