    149 @ GBS,

The Stormers (45)have a slight problem, in that all the chasing teams, still have 4 bye points to accrue. Which effectively means, that the Crusaders 41(37+4),Sharks 40 (36+4),Highlanders 39 (35+4), and Hurricanes 38 (34+4) are now all within striking distance. Especially the Saders and Sharks, are within a win of knocking the Stormers out of the playoffs.

The Sharks looked good value in destroying the Force. The Stormers are sure to lose another loosie, to a citing, and face a misfiring Waratahs team on Saturday.

Bonus points are going to cost the Breezers big time!

Warped logic… as the bye weekends all carry 4 log points.

Week 12 is just that… Week 12…. and all sides have the same number of weeks left.

Interesting weeks to come, just hope my Bulls can continue winning… this next weekend a difficult one against the Landers, followed by an even more difficult one against the Chiefs… then a massive one against the Stormers.

Stormers have Waratahs, Sharks, Bulls…. all three difficult.

Sharks also with difficult games coming…. Cheetahs, Stormers, then an easier one against the Lions.

Cheetahs have Sharks, Waratahs and then a bye.

The team which blinks first has a problem!

After this weekend, if your team had less than 34 Log Points, your team is in serious trouble, and most likely won’t make the play-off’s.

One would need about 58 or 60 Log points to reach the TOP 6…

There are 6 Weeks left to do it,

Bulls need another 14 to 16 Log points
    Chiefs need 15 – 17 Log Points
    Stormers need 15 – 17 Log Points
Brumbies still need 19 – 21 Log Points
    Crusaders need 21 – 23 Log Points
    Sharks need 22 – 24 Log Points
    Highlanders need 23 – 25 Log Points
    Hurricanes need 24 – 26 Log Points

Reds need 27- 29 Log Points… out of a possible 30 Points, which would require a nearly perfect run.
Cheetahs need 31 – 33 Log points… out of only a possible 29 (bye week taken into account)… so effectively they are out of it.
Waratahs need 31 – 33 Log Points… out of a possible 29…. so effectively they’re out of it too.

The rest just make up the numbers…

    154@ grootblousmile:

Sharks bonus points have kept my team in the running so far. We have 8 bonus points the most out of any of the S15 teams so far.

Still think the log will change each week. Still a long, long way to go in this tourney. Some teams are starting to creep back up and some may lose ground.

Still plenty tough games for many teams. This tourney is just way, way toooooooooooooooooooooo long. Really hope after 2015 we can go back to the old format. The home and away derbies are just daft. Should just play each other once like we used too. Also every team should play each other once, this missing playing two teams is just crazy. Also don’t like Tests inbetween the S15. Just too much rugby, players are gonna face burn out much younger if this crazy schedule stays.
