Lions prop CJ van der Linde has been cited for biting Toby Lynn in the Force’s victory over the Lions on Saturday in Perth.
rugbyweek
Van der Linde is alleged to have contravened Law 10.4 (m) Acts contrary to good sportsmanship, when he allegedly bit Force player Toby Lynn at the back of a ruck while the players were involved in a clean out.
The incident occurred in the 10th minute of the match between the Force and Lions on 26th May at NIB Stadium in Perth.
The Referee: Garratt Williamson referred the incident to the Citing Commissioner by issuing a White Card following a complaint by Force Captain David Pocock.
Upon further review of the match footage the Citing Commissioner deemed in his opinion the incident had met the Red Card threshold for foul play
The Citing is to be considered in the first instance by SANZAR Duty Judicial Officer Mike Heron.
Wonder if he was hungry?
Flok, how doff can one be… he’ll cop a lenghty ban if found guilty… and the TV replays seemed very clear.

He is a Lion after all, they do bite.
Eish the Lions go from bad to worse.
Dogs bite, lions eat. We can all see what the problems with the Lions are, they cannot eat because they have no teeth.
