Rarely do I find myself doubled over in pain from laughter, but, when I saw this, I wondered what Scrumdown’s house, and in particular, furniture must look like after the trashing it must have received through his frustration. Open the thread to see what I mean.
….and will anyone believe me, when I say I pressed the wrong damn button, when you see I have the Lions to win by 28!!!
1 @ Just For Kicks:
Scrumdown told me this morning, when he was here at my office…
Shame, poor man’s PC had a heart attack… or is that a Hard Drive attack….
I was thinking on picking the Chiefs by quite a bit… but 99 strethes it a bit far…. hehehe
The worrying thing is… we should actually laugh at YOU… because Scrumdown might just get a point on Bru… what about you?

Yip, the Lions have power dips and spikes… like our local Joburg Municipal power has dips and spikes…. and those dips and spikes corrupt everything wherever they go.
The problem with the Lions is ….they only live to beat the Bulls now. Expect a super natural performance , where everyone is willing to run through a wall, against the Bulls.
But dont worry Stormers without any cup you guys are not in our league so you wont get that major enemy effort from the Cubs. At least the Lions have a pre professional era Super title behind them, although it is almost 2 decades ago.
Dink die Leeus gaan so 60 minute goed doen, en dan is dit ongelukkig
@ superBul:Yeah, rub it in!!!!!!!!!!
A preview on SARugby
The Bulls have enjoyed the form of rising youngster C.J. Stander scoring in consecutive games. With Jacques Potgieter, Francois Hougaard and Juandre Kruger all having solid performances recently, the Bulls have every reason to go into the match confident.
In addition, Morne Steyn’s kicking game continues to provide for the Bulls, notching up 26 points to keep the Bulls out of reach of the Brumbies.
The Bulls have re-included Flip van der Merwe at lock at the expense of Wilhelm Steenkamp who returns to the bench. Dean Greyling, who also returns from injury, will take his place at loosehead prop, with Dawie Steyn not selected. Willie Wepener starts as the replacement hooker.
The Rebels have lost James O’Connor to injury and released flyhalf Danny Cipriani from the balance of his contract, meaning Melbourne lacks a high-end play-maker for the encounter. Kurtley Beale thus slots into flyhalf.
With Jarrod Saffy out for the remainder of the season with a bulging disc in his spine, Luke Jones will cover the openside of the scrum.
Outside centre Mitch Inman is available after breaking his hand and Rebels captain Stirling Mortlock has finally shaken persistent calf troubles to be included on the bench.
Key Battle: Kurtley Beale vs. Morne Steyn. Steyn’s kicking in general play and distribution by hand always keeps his opposition on their toes.
His tactical nous in the halves is an unquantifiable advantage, and his precision when kicking will keep the Rebels scrambling.
Beale’s a line-breaker and known for clearing kicks rather than tactical ones. Beale will carry the ball to the advantage line and get outside his opposite number.
Being in close will keep him closer to the action, but the lack of space and the proximity of the Bulls loose forwards will cramp his free running game.
Last Meeting: Bulls 47-10 Melbourne Rebels (Pretoria).
Prediction: The Bulls are too strong and skilful, and have greater depth on the bench. They have form and momentum on their side, while the Rebels are overcoming injury and structural dysfunction. Bulls by 20 points.

Happened to me once, pressed the wrong button, first game of the BIL tour against that CountryXV side in Rustenburg…..and five minutes before the final whistle I was still the only one in with a chance ! Lions won at the death, nearly started their tour with a loss that day…..
Talk about taking a beating when you’re down!!!!!!!!!!
In the past month, the wife’s French car has given me untold amounts of kak that not even the dealer can sort out, The DSTV’s LNB went poep, and now my notebook decided that it was going on strike in sympathy with SANRAL.
Thank goodness for the consistent performances of my chosen Super Rugby franchise to at least bring stability to my personal turmoil.
I’m sure that if they concentrate for long enough, they’l be able to keep the score under the 100 mark!
Oh, and Mr JFK, you better hope that the Mountain Goats perform better in the knock out stages of this edition of Super Rugby than the previous couple, or else you too could be in for some serious character assasination.
10 @ Scrumdown:
If I was you, I would not take this Article lying down….
Kickers deserves a retort in an Article of the highest order….
10@ Scrumdown:My character was assassinated 20 years ago – when I got married. Anything you say now, will only make my parents proud!
Was wondering, why 99? Was that where the scoring stopped per chance?
12@ Just For Kicks:
Just couldn’t bring myself to predict a loss of 100 points. Us Lions supporters are a proud bunch I’ll have you know!
11@ grootblousmile:
Hmmm. Sounds like an idea.
I’ll have a chat with the Captain in a while and see what we can come up with.
Any luck with that HDD?
14 @ Scrumdown:
HDD has to be swopped out under warrantee… it is FUBAR… fails the deep scan tool Tests.
Will have the swop done on Monday.
15@ grootblousmile:
OK. Did you manage to make an image of the contents?
16 @ Scrumdown:
HDD is too fubar to do it…
… apart from what I’ve already saved and given you, do you want me to try and save more Data & stuff?
