Six months ago Chris Paterson announced his retirement from International rugby after 109 International caps but now he’s gone a step further and announced his overall retirement from the game, his last game to be played this weekend.
Playing for Edinburgh, the 34-year old fullback has spent more than ten years at the club.
Paterson has built up an impressive record and has broken many records for his country.
He is the Scotish top points scorer of all time with 809 points, which includes 22 tries and 699 points with the boot and he holds the most national caps for his country and he will now take up a new role at Edinburgh.
“It will be an emotional day for fans and players alike.”, Edinburgh head coach, Michael Bradley said.
