Dagbreek props look a bit “teletbbyish” with a bit af weight around the middle. Guess that’s all to go with being real students rather than Rugby students?
Try Vishuis?
TMO
Vossie van Straaten
Come on… give that try!
89@ Just For Kicks:
My question has to be, how well is the VC promoted / marketed outside SA?
90@ grootblousmile:Hahaha, and he did, one of the biggest oaks I have ever seen, came from Vredendal, drank like a fish, but one of the softest spoken and nice guys you could ever want to meet. Put him on a rugby field, and how Dr Jeckyll became Mr Hyde! He was an animal!
94 @ Scrumdown:
I don’t think anybody outside SA sees these games
94@ Scrumdown:I wouldn’t know, but I follow a few Assie/NZ scribes on twitter, and they have certainly been tweeting about it all season, so they are well aware that it is on, and the success it has been here. On more than one occasion seen comments about wishing that they had something similar
How long before the clever Rugby brains start a “Champions league”?
Top 2-3 from the Aviva, French Top 14, Celtic league and Super Rugby.
We basically have a massive crossover in the seasons anyway.
Vark me, that could be a money spinner.
GBS, we should register the IP somehow.
98 @ Scrumdown:
Fark me MacGuyver… where will I find the time for that too!
Try again to Vishuis
Vishuis 13 / 8 Dagbreek
95@ Just For Kicks:
I know a guy that worked for me in Swaziland as well. Sooooo quiet off the field, but put him between the whitewash and he became an animal.
Played TH for the Valke at U20, but had K@K eyesight and basically stopped playing in SA.
The Swazi’s really wanted him to play for them but he decided to come back to SA. Flippin nice guy.
Good thing this Varsity Cup…. in a couple of years we will see how positively it impacts on our Provincial and Super Rugby depth and structures
98@ Scrumdown:Agree, been saying for ages, its going to come
99@ grootblousmile:
Just find a way to protect the IP. We’ll sell it off to someone for millions when the time is right. (GB Pounds of course)
Stop being a wus and do some work without complaining for a change. Hehehehe
103 @ Scrumdown:
So I must register the Domain, Champions League and Trademark the Name….
Nogga Vishuis try!
Fransman
Good freegin running rugby, this
Vishuis 18 / 8 Dagbreek
I see that Vigshuis is playing.
Good handling too… for koshuis rugby
108 @ Loosehead:
Yip…. were they a rival Koshuis of yours at Kovsies?
101@ grootblousmile:
My good friend Manie had a very good idea for semi=Pro club Rugby that he tried to introduce in JHB.
Concept was great, execution was poor at best. Had VERY good merits as a stepping stone between club and Vodacom Rugby.
102@ Just For Kicks:
Got to come sooner or later.
Top teams from each league go to Champions league, thereby making the interprovincial / club (in Europe) competition even more important and competitive.
The rich French teams would grab the idea in an instant.
You may struggle to sell the idea to the “old farts” at SANZAR, ’cause they would hate to relinquish any power at all to anyone. (TW@TS)
The Bulls will not agree to a demand from Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder that they need to apologise after no evidence of eye-gouging was found by Sanzar’s judiciary system, High Performance and Media Manager Ian Schwartz said on Monday.
“The Bulls are not interested in getting into a public spat with the Crusaders, as we always had the greatest respect for them and a very cordial relationship,” Schwartz said.
The Bulls are standing their ground on claims made by the players.
“The rules are clear and we applied them 100 percent correctly. We had the right to raise the matter with the referee and we accept the fact that there was no video evidence.”
104@ grootblousmile:
Absoldamnlutely. Then get a French speaking associate and we’ll start marketing it.
Financiers will come. Don’t worry about that.
Vishuis playing some lekker Rugger here.
Vishuis 18 / 10 Dagbreek
111@ Scrumdown:And if theres money involved?
113 @ Scrumdown:
Is’nt there a Champions League Soccer thing already?
@ grootblousmile:
Hius Abraham Visser. Bunch of wankers.
Carl Stumphe and I bliksemed about 10 of their eerstejaars at a ladies indoor hokey match. I don’t remember why……………just that there was a bottle of tequila involved.
Vishuis 18 / 12 Dagbreek
116@ grootblousmile:
Yes, and Cricket.
115@ Just For Kicks:
Domain registration is F all (R 150 / year). Tradename may be a bit. GBS would probably know better than I what legal eagles like Spoor and Fisher charge.
