Staat really putting their bodies on the line here.
115@ superBul:I really enjoy their free running style
Go Thas!!!!
Kickable.
Yay!!
After some good work and fierce tackling, Staat get a penalty in range of the posts. 10 -9 at halftime!
Ryno Benjamin comes off as Ebersohn brings the score back to with in 1. Half time 9-10
I feel the ref can be much stricter against the Chiefs , they play that blocker and go offside many times. Thats what i feel.
And over it goes. Nice Cheetahs only one point in it now.
Go Cheetahs.
Chiefs raak moeg methinks!
Staat can be very, very happy with the score at this stage.
If the Staat can withstand the Chiefs onslaught for the first 20 mins of the 2nd half, they may be able to frustrate them and snatch this one.
@ The_Young_Turk:
have to agree….score is ver flatering atm….could have been a lot worse
They should stop trying to play them at their game and make emm run …they will tire quick that way…thin air and all
After an uphill first 20 minutes, the Cheetahs really seemed to find their feet. They seemed a little shell shocked in the first quarter, but once they settled down, realised that SBW was just a marshmallow, they got into their stride. Scrums came back, and they certainly have the Chiefs at line out. The second half should be a goodie, I hope
130@ bos_otter:
The thing is Bos, Cheetahs like Sharks have not had their bye yet and both our sides have travelled as well. Both our sides will be feeling the affect of not having a bye.
Cheetahs can still win this game buddy. Only half time and just one point in it.
Go Cheetahs.
They (Cheetahs) need to take a cold shower and re-group….they can do this
Chiefs will be instructed to force penalties at scrum time
128@ superBul:That seems to be a game plan in all NZ rugby, all the teams are doing it, and something really needs to be done about it – imo
On the whistle Benjamin is subbed by Snyman
133@ bos_otter:
Cheetahs should make them run and run. Chiefs have just travelled over too from Perth. Make the altitude count keep ball in hand and make the tackle and tackle. That way it will tire them more. Well hoping easy said than done I suppose. Those Chiefs are big buggers. Damn that Masaga is massive!
The refs normally favour the attacking team
134 @ JFK,
SBW just a marshmallow! : Overjoy:
Brilliant chirp!
@ Puma:
agreed there buddy….the bigger they are, the easier they tire though
138@ Just For Kicks:
Yeah was just about to answer Super now on that. All the kiwi sides are doing the same thing. Refs should be onto it really.
143@ bos_otter:
For sure Bos.
Sias has had a very good game so far, Staat lucky to have two very good generals
Yip, Staat have to make them work hard in the 2nd half and tire them out. Of course a try or 2 by the CTahs will also be very welcome.
Like Naka’s instructions, “No 50/50’s, No bad kicks”!
omw….that was so close
The time is now!
