Still a good team, Johnson will be hurting after his error strewn match. Cheetahs have a bye after this, and will also have some players back, so they can soon rotate some players. Lappies Labuschagne and Walti Vermeulen will be available after the bye I reckon.

So, my post a couple of weeks ago comes true, Ashley Johnson has signed a 2 year contract with Wasps
Just for the record, Wasps have also signed Stephen Jones (fly half), Phil Swainston and Will Taylor (both props)- This from a team that only yesterday announced that they were desperately seeking a sponsor. AJ, I hope you’ve done the right thing!
espnscrum.com
They need to find around £2 million within the next month to avoid that move which would also result in a 15-point deduction. Wasps are currently only eight points ahead of bottom side Newcastle so the loss of the points would quite possibly also mean they would be relegated from the Aviva Premiership.
The former Premiership and Heineken Cup champions have been in the market for a new owner since July 2011, when Wycombe council withdrew support for the construction of a new stadium. In February, Wasps were at “advanced stages of discussions” with four interested parties but those talks have now come to a halt.
It is understood that the club have enough funding to see them through the next month, which would allow them to complete the Premiership season, but that they need urgent investment to remain in business.
While Wasps have reduced their debts by £1 million to around £2 million, their only substantial assets are their players. They do not own either their ground or training facility.
Interesting to see Carter move to 12, Blackadder obviously sh1tting himself for the onset of the impending storm. He’s completely lost confidence in his kicker, and by Carters own admission, he was more than a little surprised to be told of his new position.
What a dumb move by Ashley. Wasps are going bang, and he moves to them.
I wonder if this is the reason that Naka hasn’t always started with him?

I can’t believe that I have backed the Sharks to win this one.
@ Loosehead:
Same here. I believe their poor performance last week will serve as a massive wake-up call (hoping) and that they will pull it together this week.
@ Loosehead:
@ bos_otter:
And me! But this week, apart from the obvious, I have gone opposite of what my head has told me – just want to see if that works!!!! But agree, Blues have been so woeful, that if the Sharks can’t take this one, there really isn’t much hope for them this season.
My predictions for the weekend:
Stormers sonder Burger, Saders sonder McCaw. Geskiedenis se Saders gaan, moet, wen. So ja, Stormers se run gaan tot ‘n einde kom. Nie dat hulle my sal glo nie.
Brumbies vs Rebels. Hoef nie veel te se nie. Brumbies.
Cheetahs vs Chiefs. Bliksem, albei spanne is soos dinamiet. Kan enige tyd ontplof, maar wie gaan eerste skiet. Goosen is uit, en dis huge, maar ek dink die Cheaters gaan dit doen. 5 punte.
Bulls vs… ag f*k, makie sakie… Bulls met 10-15.
14@ Just For Kicks:
haha. It never worked for me last week. I went against who I thought would win and picked the teams I thought would lose, well in some instances. Thought if those teams win I will shoot up the ladder a bit in the pools I am playing. BUT it backfired and I have now slipped way, way down.
So it don’t work doing it that way either…..hahaha.
Good luck to all saffa teams playing overseas sides.
Most of all good luck to my Sharks. Really hope we can win it this week and head home leaving the shores of NZ with a win. Would be good to then face the Chiefs coming from their shores coming off a win at KP.
16@ Puma:Yeah, I’m not holding thumbs!!!! Go Sharks
18@ Just For Kicks:Hope my Sharks can win this one. Jeez we a better team than how we been playing so far.
Good luck to your Stormers, really hope they beat the Saders.
Also hope the Cheetahs beat the Chiefs. Would like to see all the saffa sides beat the kiwi sides this week. Now that would make my weekend……hahaha.
@ Puma:It’s a very tough one for the Stormers this w/end, I’m still backing my boys to the hilt, but there is something gnawing in my gut. We have the players to beat them, or rather, with the players we have at the moment, we have more chance than ever before when playing the Crusaders at home. We are playing well, and the Crusaders are going to be suffering more from jet lag than the Stormers. Added to this, they have moved Carter to centre, where he hasn’t played for 7 years. Really, it’s ours for the taking – they’re running scared.
But, and I say, but again, it’s just not as easy as that. There are a number of young players in the team, and whilst they have done brilliantly so far, are being made up to fail by the media, and that equals unwarranted pressure. The media again have been hyping this one up so much in the pressers, etc, they are again putting immense pressure on the team. Bar one or two, the team has remained unchanged, and after 3 very hard games and the trip in between, fatigue must be setting in. The Crusaders are playing at home, where they have won about a million home games and have only lost a handful. They make up half the All Black side!
If we fail, we will slip, nay, tumble down the ladder to 4th or further – the consequences wouldn’t bear thinking about, on this site, at least!!!!! But, hey, I’m not scared, so bring it on, and Gooooo Stromers
The Live Game Articles have been scheduled for tomorrow….
See you in the morning, tonight I’m nursing a massive head ache.
Going to go turn in now… and really hurt a mattress!
