    ciao Kickers, how’s the cellar?

  • 9

    ok,
whilst watching the pampas x1 vs cheetahs x1 yesterday,
i just had the following thought (remember i dont have many of those, so you guys better pay close attention!)
    ….
it just struck me that i, who been one of their biggest admirers and fans for a long long time, could not think of one thing nzrugby have done to better worldrugby as a whole!!
    here the pampas x1, made up of argentinian club players were given exposure in the vodacom cup;
    WE pushed for the inclusion of Argintinia into the 3n (cant remember the new name now);
and i might be mistaken on this one, but wasnt superrugby also our brainchild? (ok, at least then it came along because pienaar were recruiting players for a new professional league if i’ve got my facts correct!!??).
in fact the only thing i could think of was that nz’s conduct forced the irb to make the ruling that no player who presented one international team may turn out for another!!
can anyone help me on this one, cause if it is true (that they’ve done absolutely nothing for the game), then it is quite amazing that since 1996 ALL rule changes by the irb were made with nz in mind (again, i cant think of 1 rule change since ’96 that didnt benefit the all blacks and the way they play the game).
    i
hope someone disagree with me on this one
    and
can give me another view of this?
cause if you cant, then it would mean that i, and a lot of other people, have for years been actually supporting the leeches of world rugby!!

@ The_Young_Turk:Morning Turky, I have no idea how the cellar is, it’s my first weekend off since Jan, as the harvest is now finished, and I have absolutely no intention of going near it until Monday!!!!!!!

  • 11

    @ Ashley:
I don’t have any facts to contest what you’re saying and have to agree that the international sentiment IMHO seems to have been “what’s good for the All Blacks, is good for the game of rugby” as they were the most famous and popular team in the world.

  • 12

9@ Ashley:If you spent your time trying to work out how to get a sheep into your bed, you wouldn’t have much time to come up with other ideas either – give them a break!

sorry, lets try #9 again here for more clarity

    @ Just For Kicks:
Great mate, you deserve it. Now we can expend all our efforts on tackling the “northern invasion” on RT.

  • 15

    @ Ashley:
Don’t you think it’s a mite early to be drunk already Wink

  • 16

    jfk @ 12
😀 come-on bru, as i said, seeing the pampas x1 play in OUR competition and the FACT that WE pushed for the inclusion of Argintinia just made me wonder what THEY (nz) did
    ..
i couldnt come up with ANYTHING … which is quite amazing giving the stature of all black rugby around the world and the preferential treatment they receive!!

  • 17

14@ The_Young_Turk:….and so I have been, especially after GBS’s comment yesterday that if the Bulls (cough, splutter) win today with a bonus point, they will top the log, “where they should be”. THe lines have been drawn, let battle commence!

  • 18

    turk @ 15
    lol, i’m not!!
but please put my mind at rest if you can think of anything (even since the inception of rugby then if you can)!!

  • 19

    turk @ 15
aaaah, i see what you mean, lol.
#13 is even more confusing that #9.

  • 20

16@ Ashley:I agree, completely, …..but I still think we should cut them some slack, those sheep can be wily buggers

  • 21

    @ Just For Kicks:
We shall fight them on every comment, every opinion and every article, we shall never surrender!

  • 22

    @ Just For Kicks:
I thing you have it a little wrong there, kickers – the guys buggering the sheep are wily!

  • 23

    21@ The_Young_Turk:I’m with you, Captain

  • 24

    22@ The_Young_Turk:They learn’t it from the sheep

  • 25

    @ Just For Kicks:
Ah, now I see what you mean, the more buggering, the more wily Wink

  • 26

Rough game, rugby in NZ, even the supporters are wearing gum guards!!!!

  • 27

    jfk @ 20
give me one reason (other than the crusaders/canes game are about to start) that we should do that (cut them some slack).
    fact is:
    we are treated like shit
    whilst they
enjoy preferential treatment in every way!!
they are nothing more than leeches and should be exposed as such!!!

  • 28

    jfk @ 26
    😀

  • 29

    Hellooooooooooooooooo

Just in time for this game!

  • 30

    #27
and i am not a racist, i have friends that are nzlanders!! Happy-Grin
