Good day Saffas!
Just before the game starts, I just want to say… LIONS SUUUUCK! Honestly!
If the Cheetahs (who sports the most Springboks in their run on 15 of all the SA sides this weekend) have to make place for the Kings next year, I’ll eat my Springbok jersey!
Now, go Hurricanes.
Helloooooooooooooooo muppits, moepels & mopkoppe…. and friends!
Yeahhhh, gooooooooo Canes!
… but I think the Chiefs will be too good for them….
@ Greenpoint-Gunner:
@ grootblousmile:
Top of the morning to you. Agree, Lions suck!
Players out on the pitch
If McLook is around, perhaps he can put something together on Fred Allen for us
4 @ Just For Kicks:
Yip… they suck and sucked last night.
But man, there are moments of brilliance too…. they have these patches…
But usually as soon as they’ve done something incredible, the wheels come off totally and the other team walzez through or almost through.
Josh Strauss has also become one-dimentional with ball in hand and the tight 5 might be impressive at times as individuals (Calib, Pat Celliers), but as a tight unit they suck.
Butch James is an abomination… he is a total doofus!
Isn’t it sad that Investec sponsors so many foreign teams
Game ON!
@ grootblousmile:Eish, I thought I saw brilliance, but on reflection, I think it was because the Brumbies took their foot off the proverbial accelerator. The only stand out for me was Jantjies, but his defence is dismal. He really needs to sort that out. But hey, he’ll be at the Stormers next year (my prediction), and he’ll learn to tackle with us
Penalty Chiefs, Cruden going for goal… ad slots it
Chiefs 3 / 0 Hurricanes
Chiefs looking at creating running chances early on.
If the Chiefs click today, it could be a routing!
10 @ Just For Kicks:
Jantjies is aweful on defence… and in SA Terms, to my mind is the 5th best flyhalf only.
Morné, Goosen, Lambie, Peter Grant, Elton Jantjies
SBW may have the ‘X’ factor on attack, but he, too is a bit of a liability on defence
Canes always have a large number of big name players… but somehow always flatter to deceive
14@ grootblousmile:Nah, Morne below Goosen for me
Taumalolo is quite an athlete for a prop… nimble, light on his feet, strong
Penalty Chiefs, very easy one
Chiefs 6 / 0 Hurricanes
@ Just For Kicks:MSG
17 @ Just For Kicks:
Whatever way one sees the order, those are the 4 guys above Jantjies.
21 @ bean1:
Hello Beanie… don’t you say hello?
Canes with advantage
Penalty Canes, deep in Chiefs 22… easy one at goal
Chiefs 6 / 3 Hurricanes
22@ grootblousmile:Yup, I’d agree with that, but he does have something special that boy, I just think he needs a different coach to turn him into the real thing. Every now and then, he shows glimpses.
Unfair advantage, there was a knock on by the Chiefs before that, the ref was right there too
27 @ Just For Kicks:
There’s definate potential in a NUMBER of Lions players….
Calib Oosthuizen, Pat Celliers, Minnie, Josh Strauss, Elton Jantjies, Alwyn Hollenbach, Andries Coetzee, Jaco Taute.
Chiefs 9 / 3 Hurricanes
