The Cheetahs have been hit with a second big injury as winger Rayno Benjamin will miss the rest of the season.

Benjamin was forced from the field with a shoulder injury in the Cheetahs 33-39 defeat to the Chiefs.
Coach Naka Drotske said that he had hoped that Benjamin’s injury was not too serious but he now says that he doubts the winger will play again this season.
“Rayno Benjamin’s shoulder injury is worse than expected. “Drotske told Volksblad.
Drotske said that a decision on whether or not he needed surgery would be made at a later date.
Benjamin’s injury comes after fellow winger Dusty Noble injured his knee ligaments in the Cheetahs first match of the season which was against the Lions.
The Cheetahs have the bye this week and they hope that players such captain Adriaan Strauss will be able to regain full fitness in the break.
