Think we must call Kickers “Cellar Dweller” from now on!
The Brumbies “Mensvreter” off subbed, suffering from cramp
I gather Joubert has asked the touchies to set their alarms for the end of 80 minutes. Apparently he says the games so boring, he’s scared he may fall asleep
Brumbies could (probably will) lose to Bulls next week. Stormers could beat the Reds as well. Where does it leave the Aussie sides? Who tops their conference really don’t deserve to have a automatic play off, totally unfair on teams that have more points than them really.
Time to revert back to the old format after 2015. All teams need to play each other once and the top 4 go into a semi. That way we see the best teams playing in the semi and finals.
Huxley, Gerrard, Beale and O’Connor wasting their time and effort at the Rebels
124 @ Puma:
Yip, can’t agree more!
Conference system only suits the Aussie sides
119@ The_Young_Turk:
Rebels penalty… suddenly with Huxley on there is more fluency in the Rebels backline
Gerrard almost through… just lost control of the ball
Less than 4 minutes to go…
121@ grootblousmile:Watching the moss grow on the walls is more exciting than this match, thats for sure
126@ grootblousmile:
For sure.
I want to see the best in a semi, this play off thing is a joke with whoever tops their conference no matter what points they have they automatically go into a play off….
Saru messed up by allowing this to happen. Flawed format, said it from last year already.
Brumbies relieving penalty, shoulders below the hips at scrumtime
131@ Just For Kicks:
😆
132 @ Puma:
I was against the Conference System from the start
Less than a minute to go, Brumbies scrum
Final Score: Brumbies 37 / 6 Melbourne Rebels
Can’t wait for the Cheetah/Chiefs game. Gonna be a cracker I think. Cheets are playing some great rugby. Hope they beat the Chiefs, who themselves are playing good rugby. Just want another saffa team to get a kiwi scalp this weekend…..lol.

When something ain’t broke, don’t try and fix it!
137@ grootblousmile:
What a huge yawn!
Boring, boring game.
Cheetahs / Chiefs Live Game Article will be up at 14:00 SA Time.
The Cellar Dweller (Kickers) will be your Captain for that game!
That final whistle was a blessing when it finally came. Truly dismal performance, and not a good advert for rugby
@ Puma:
You are just prejudiced towards cats
Gooooooooo Staat!
Goooooooooooooo Bulls!
138@ Puma:I’m right behind you there, just hope the loss of Strauss doesn’t disrupt them too much
Ah, free at last from that tyrant Smiles who forces me to what this utter shyte!!!
139@ The_Young_Turk:
Exactly.
The old format worked and worked well. Always the best team won there.
How can we all miss a team from NZ and OZ? Which teams miss playing who? Look I am pleased Sharks not playing Saders, but is it fair on the other saffa teams? Definitely not. Then Sharks miss playing this useless Rebels side, where we no doubt would have picked up 5 points. So is it fair on the Sharks that the other saffa sides will all pick up 5 points from them?
Just using the above as a example why this tourney is unfair and flawed. Also whoever tops their conference no matter where they are on the combined log gets a automatic play off? Totally unfair on teams that are doing better than some that will top their conference. A huge shambles this format. It simply does not work. Well not for me. Said from the start it was flawed and this year it is showing more than ever it is flawed.
@ The_Young_Turk:
watch
145@ Just For Kicks:
Ja, forgot about that. Damn really hope it does not make a difference to the Cheets. They playing great rugby. Really hope they beat the Chiefs.
146 @ The_Young_Turk:
Bwahahaha
Sufferrrrrrrr!
