Vir die 1ste keer in my lewe wou ek he die bulls moes ‘n game wen. Net sodat ek ‘n perfekte naweek kon he met Superbru. En wat gebeur???? Die poepholle gaan staan en verloor!
Maar ek is nog steeds bly hulle het in die pomp gekak, en gaan van nou af meer vir die flou trille skree! 🙂

  • 182

How do they say…. back down to earth with a thump!

180@ superBul:I thought Spies played very well, but he’s not the captain in my book. The Bulls desperately needed someone to Gee them up, read them the riot act when needed, and tell them to keep their heads as the Blues tried – and succeeded to wind them up

I think that Spies or whoever captains the Bulls wont have a easy task. They cant make inspirational decisions, they must play in the structures and keep with the game plan.
In short we played nearly right, in fact i would say we did play to our plan. But today something rare happened, Morne Steyn FAILED.

Like i said Victor set the trend, instead of kicking you 3 pointers the opted, like in Matfields day, for the 7 pointers. And then we were not accurate.
Harder work for sure, the week off must start every morning with a replay of the last 10 minutes, when we tried something else we also looked dangerous.

    Let’s call a spade a farking shovel…. Morné Steyn had a mare tonight….

I have not EVER seen him kick this kak to posts!

… but he’s just too good not to rise from the ashes…..

  • 193

Oh well, see you all for a bit of 6N tomorrow – that should be interesting – England with nothing to lose, and France….well, that depends which team turns up

It was a bit dissapointing in the end. Ball handling isn’t tops. Makes a difference in the end

Well congrats to the Blues, at the end if you play to lose you deserve to lose.
I enjoyed a few things the Bulls did.
    Spies was playing well
Bjorn came back into the game well and Chillies did his thing.
    Lineouts was good

You’ll have to do the Game Article AND Captain it…. tomorrow I’m at the Goemmas!

It was the very thing that might have cost them the game. The kicking blunders

@ grootblousmile:No problem. will you just put it up, Ill do the rest

  • 198

@ grypmygou:I don’t think it was the kicking that lost them the game – it certainly helped, but the Blues played clever rugby, by annoying the Bulls into forgetting their game plan, and just playing stupid rugby

  • 199

@ Just For Kicks:The bulls played stupid rugby, that is

My last comment – and I will repeat it during the week – The Bulls played with Brawn, and no brains tonight

Refereeing is getting worse, with this i am not complaining about something specific that cost my team, i cant think of any real excuse. But the scrum penalties en the long pauses annoys me. He also let other things happen that wasted many seconds. I want a more flowing game not all this silly time wasters.

Law 5(e) If time expires and the ball is not dead, or an awarded scrum or lineout has not been
completed, the referee allows play to continue until the next time that the ball becomes
dead. The ball becomes dead when the referee would have awarded a scrum, lineout, an
option to the non-infringing team, drop out or after a conversion or successful penalty kick
at goal. If a scrum has to be reset, the scrum has not been completed. If time expires and a
mark, free kick or penalty kick is then awarded, the referee allows play to continue.

    (f) If time expires after a try has been scored the referee allows time for the conversion kick to
    be taken.

OK lets debate it this way , in Cricket the last ball is a NO ball, because it is the last ball the bowler does not get away with it , Right

Now dont think for one moment i think the Bulls could have won by getting the penalty on halfway, we could have conceded another try and lost our bonus point.

But imagine the noise in the stadium if we were awarded a penalty and tapped it to play on….. That would have been like a team needing 6 of the last ball. But lets see how our esteemed Referee Boss Andre Watson explains it. In MY oppinion the game should have continued.

    I can’t agree more
The did seem very frustrated with the blues right in their face & sometimes even being a real nuisance

    @ grypmygou:
anoying is part of all games lost, i just think we attacked enough but good defense and poor , inaccurate finishing cost us a few tries.
But its Okay we have lost our invincible tag at Loftus now, hard word will help.
