6 Teams announced…. 8 to go
Wow, GBS, 19 guests at the moment – must be a record!
2 @ Just For Kicks:
Highest was 99 on 30 April 2011
We often hit up to 40 guests at a time too… it’s just that you have not noticed… hehehe
Here’s a little portion of a snapshot of how I’m able to see it when I want to:
The Bulls and Lions teams are out too… I will add them now
Speaking of this, what has happned to all of our regulars……at the moment it seems to be a Bulls & Cheetahs a few Lions and Just For Kicks website. Where are the Sharks supporters?
@ Just For Kicks:
Wonder why they don’t just register and join the chat.
The Bulls side.. up at the top already… but have a look at the Number of Super Rugby caps the different players have!
The team to play the Blues (with Super Rugby caps) is: 15 Zane Kirchner (56), 14 Akona Ndungane (69), 13 Wynand Olivier (88), 12 Francois Venter (2), 11 Bjorn Basson (27), 10 Morné Steyn (91), 9 Jano Vermaak (74), 8 Pierre Spies (74 Captain), 7 Jacques Potgieter (2), 6 Deon Stegmann (57), 5 Juandré Kruger (2), 4 Flip van der Merwe (36), 3 Werner Kruger (60), 2 Chiliboy Ralepelle (37), 1 Dean Greyling (17). Replacements: 16 Willie Wepener (42), 17 Frik Kirsten (4), 18 Wilhelm Steenkamp (38), 19 CJ Stander (2), 20 Ruan Snyman (1), 21 Louis Fouché (2), 22 JJ Engelbrecht (2).
Milestones:
● Morné Steyn holds the Vodacom Bulls record in Super Rugby career points (1012 – 10 tries, 178 conversions, 180 penalties, 22 dropped goals) and the tournament record for dropped goals and could improve on both.
● Wynand Olivier is the most capped South African midfielder in Super Rugby and will extend that record with his 89th appearance for the Vodacom Bulls. He has scored 25 tries, the most in the Bulls side.
Morné Steyn will go past 100 Super Rugby game this season still (if injury keeps away) and he’s still reasonably young, so he could make it to 150 or maybe 200. That is incredible!
@ bos_otter:I don’t know, maybe its all the pink with a hint of dark blue that drives them away, hehehe
5@ Loosehead:And like I said before, it’s sooo lonely out here on my own, but with my massive shoulders, I can take all the kak you guys give me regarding the “stormpopies”!
@ grootblousmile:So you can see which page everyone is looking at. That is very interesting, you could do some research into what people prefer, and we could focus on that – actually, on second thoughts, maybe not, we’d have to drop al the bulls stuff, and then you’d get bored, hehehe
@ Just For Kicks:
lol….you da man!!
11 @ Just For Kicks:
I can see MUCH more than that, brother…
I can even see what browser they’re using and what Operating System they have on their PC
… and some more…
13@ grootblousmile:…their wives????
14 @ Just For Kicks:
Hehehehehe
Nah, unfortunately not!

It’s been an eventful day’s cricket, one that that took a while to begin. Rain delayed the start of the series and washed out the first session. When the toss finally took place after lunch, Ross Taylor put South Africa in, hoping his quicks would use the overhead conditions. But there was no movement or swing for the four fast bowlers, and South Africa moved smoothly on to 86 for 1 at tea.
After tea, however, everything changed. The sun was out, the ball began to move around, and Martin dismissed Smith in the first over. He then got Kallis and de Villiers off consecutive deliveries in his next. South Africa recovered briefly through Amla and Rudolph but New Zealand eventually broke that resistance as well. The hosts were ordinary in the first session, and inspired in the second. The bowlers conceded only one extra all day (the other was a leg bye), and ironically that ball was found to be a no-ball only after New Zealand reviewed an lbw appeal against Rudolph. Bracewell had struck him plumb in front after his foot landed on the line.

16@ superBul:
The cricket will be over before then.
All teams, except once again for the Highlanders, have been announced
Why Michalak at 9 again? Look I don’t rate McCloud but he is better than Michalak.
21 @ Loosehead:
Baffles me too
18 @ Loosehead
Agree, Expect the Cheetahs to up their game considerably, and seeing Jake the Snake, “doesn’t rate a role of the fetcher, Brussow will have him fetching calmettes himself bwahahahaaaa
23@ Cheetah4eva:
I like Jake as a coach, hell’s teeth he won the RWC for us.
I back the mighty VRYSTAAAAAAT to beat the Brumbies though.
24 @ Loosehead:
Apparently Jake has expressed an interest in the England job again… and the Brumbies have also acknowledged it.
I wonder if Jake could coach the Brumbies to continue with their previously superb backline running lines?
I personally don’t think Jake is such a good backline specialist. If you remember, he had to call in Eddie van der Jones in to help him and Allister Coetzee out of a pickle with the Bokke backs for the 2007 World Cup.
His forté was gelling a Team together and applying consistency in selection and STICKING with his group of players.
25@ grootblousmile:I liked the style of play produced by the Brumbarians in their first [and only] game. Jake was a hooker [ no, not like the one Joost had] so he probably spent more time with the forwards and employed a specialist backline coach. At the moment I think that Larkham is the Brumbies backline coach.
26 @ Loosehead:
I did not think much of the Brumbies first game.
I see there are some rumblings of the corridors of the twitter freak that the Blues may take it – uh oh, have I said too much?
28 @ Just For Kicks:
The Blues are no pushovers… that’s for sure!
But the Bulls seems to have the wood over them at Loftus in recent times.
Boobs & All is going to be on now, let’s hear what they say… then I’ll do my Bru picks…
