‘Operation Clean-Up’ has finally got under way at Cricket South Africa (CSA) when the Board of Directors of Cricket South Africa brought Gerald Majola’s innings to an end in Johannesburg.
On Saturday, the CSA CEO was suspended after the Board considered the recommendations of the Nicholson Committee of Enquiry.
The news will be welcomed by the country’s Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula who recently urged CSA to do the right thing.
“Is it not time for the board to make way for a new leadership that will take Cricket South Africa to new era of hope and clean governance?,” Mbalula said a media briefing.
