Nou sal die flippin Southern Kings weer seker n bekvol te ‘puke’ he….
They can only farking beat their fellow saffers and hurt our leading teams.
The Canes were there for the taking… absolutely so!
Lions were their own worst enemies.
Hard luck Lions.
Well I suppose this game goes to show how good the Stormers are and how long the Cheetahs seasonis going to be.
Damn!
Pat Cilliers MOTM. Who dreamed that up?
I think all our hearts are broken. Lions dashed our hopes that this season was going to be different. Same old kuk!
@ Pietman:Oom Piet, are you still supporting the Bulls?
Attendance 15115.
That is me two down on bru today. Bloody hard to pick this year. Who would have thought the Chiefs would have won this morning? Also thought the Lions would have had won this one.
Fark, I’m not a Lion but I’m freegin unhappy right now!
So what does this say? The Currie Cup champions lose to the weakest Kiwi side? Not a good sign for the Lions, or SA rugby for that matter.
@ Loosehead:
All the way bru!!! A bet is a bet.
Xhola should do a little more research on who the Captain of the Hurricanes is.
220@ Scrumdown:Good to see a bigger crowd this year at Ellis Park.
Sorry your Lions never got a win today Scrumdown. They really should have won this one.
Loosehead is drinking an excellent red from Spain, and it is cheap.
@ Loosehead:
Loosehead….Cheetahs is like a good red wine….only get’s better over time 🙂 ….and let’s face it, even the Lions coach said they were lucky to win against the Cheetahs. I know they lost their first, but I’m expecting a lot more from them in the comming games.
Bondisio was very slow behind the rucks. Maybe time to give young Meyer a chance.
Forwards were all disapointing for me, and the backline’s passing just didn’t seem crisp and accurate enough.
I can see the Sharks giving the Lions a good hiding next week.
@ ben_die_bul:
They have just disappointed me so many times in the past, bru. I can’t fall for it anymore.
@ superBul:
Nou maar sterkte ou maat, klink my dit gaan wild daar by jou deesdae met die vloed en als.

My first view of my PC today with news like this……
Pfffrrrrrt!
226@ Puma:
They honestly didn’t deserve to win.
No cohesion in the team.
I sometimes think that when you have uncontested scrums for such a high percentage of the game, it leaves the forward with too much energy that they waste on things other than their primary job.
Ah well. Same old same old I guess.
Baie beter rugby vandag gesien as laasweek, hopelik gaan dit more voort. Go the Bulls !
Lions die perennial losers… Hoekom het ek dit ooit gedoubt… Sal nie weer Lions pick om te wen teen New Zealand franchises nie.
@ bos_otter: Ja I know, I fully expect us to klap the Bulls tomorrow.
234@ superBul:
Weather bureau have forcast rainfall as bad as in 1984 when Cyclone Demoina hit the same area.
According to Simon Gear, this is an unprecedented type of warning.
Sterkte ou maat. Ek dink julle het ‘n moeilike week wat voorentoe le.
