The Blues could be dealt a double blow this week as they have already lost flanker Luke Braid and might lose captain Keven Mealamu to injury.

The Aucklanders were tipped before the season to be Super Rugby title contenders but have struggled through the first four weeks and only won one match.
Flanker Braid has been suspended for three weeks for punching but the bigger immediate worry is captain Mealamu who has a calf niggle.
The Blues returned from South Africa this week and Mealamu has joined an ever growing injury list with a calf muscle strain and is an unlikely starter for the clash with the Hurricanes.
Mealamu was forced from the field in the Blues match against the Stormers at half time in Cape Town.
The Blues did get some good news on the injury front however as All Black loosehead prop Tony Woodcock is likely to return this weekend.
Winger David Raikuna who missed the Stormers match with a hamstring injury is in line to play this weekend and there is optimism that Rudi Wulf has recovered from his shoulder complaint.
Wulf’s return would be a boost for the Blues as he could cover the wing during Rene Ranger’s absence (suspension) or at fullback for the injured Isaia Toeava (hip complaint).
The Blues matchwinner against the Bulls Gareth Anscombe broke his nose playing against the Stormers last weekend but is still in line to play this weekend.
