Stormers go into the match against the Lions at Coca Cola Park on Saturday at 19h10 with the same side as last weekend.

After calling up the wider squad for training this week, Coetzee has not tinkered with the side that came away with a victory against the Blues on Friday night. He is, however, worried about injuries, and has for the last week had a larger than normal squad in training. He feels that it is a long season, and there are bound to be some injuries along the way, and wanted to see what he had available. Eldstadt is back playing for the WP side, and will no doubt make a return to the Stormers line-up in the next couple of weeks.

The Stormers side to play the Lions:

15. Joe Pietersen, 14. Gio Aplon, 13. Juan de Jongh, 12. Jean De Villiers (C), 11. Bryan Habana, 10. Peter Grant, 9. Dewaldt Duvenage, 8. Nick Koster, 7. Duane Vermeulen, 6. Siya Kolisi, 5. Andries Bekker (VC), 4. Eben Etzebeth, 3. Brok Harris, 2. Tiaan Liebenberg, 1. Steven Kitshoff

Replacements: 16. Scarra Ntubeni, 17. Frans Malherbe, 18. De Kock Steenkamp, 19. Nizaam Carr, 20. Louis Schreuder, 21. Gary van Aswegen, 22. Gerhard van den Heever.

    G’day all RT’s!!!
    @ Just For Kicks:
Good WP team that. I wonder if Kitshoff is related to the ginger one in the Stormers’ side?

    Furthermore, my picks are in.
Stormers/Lions a tough one….everytime I pick the Stormers they flippin’ let me down; has been going on since that Luke Kotze asshole started captaining them.
I am always hesitant to pick against the Lions, though….imo one of the most underrated sides in the comp, the Lions. Pity they are so injury ridden at the moment.
    But a big weekend ahead!
