@ grootblousmile:
Yep, Langbek is not looking good. Stormers have managed to win but not been impressive, so they don’t inspire any confidence yet. Very hard to say at this stage which way they’ll go but the Bulls have a simple but effective style that if implemented properly by the right players, is very difficult to counter. So far they look like they have the players good enough to implement their game-plan.
60 @ Just For Kicks:
I still think it’s a re-building year for the Bulls and will rather err on the side of caution than elevate their chances too hastily.
Lemoenetyd
@ grootblousmile:Bekker was absolutely buggered yesterday, he was begging them to take him off. He looked so undercooked. But he will bounce back, I have confidence. He’s just got to stop kissing his chick. She’s sucking the lifeblood out of him
Damn, France are really stuffing this one up. Any other team and it would be hard to come back, but I think for sure a big win for France is out of the question. So looks like my time at the top of superbru will be over soon
I thought Kirchner had a good game yesterday too
@ Just For Kicks:
But why should he be so buggered? Seriously now and don’t tell me it’s the chick…
64 @ The_Young_Turk:
For years now we’ve been saying that Langbek plays too much in the centre position… but hey, he’s even further out now, on the WING!
… and in all of that his primary functions are neglected….
He must beware, he was a sure shoe-in for Matfield’s place in the Bokke, but Juandre Kruger might just be sticking his hand up, big time.
Suppose we must give Langek another 2 weeks or so, to see if he’s come back to full fittness, before we judge too harshly.
70 @ The_Young_Turk:
Some call him “Parkiepiel”…. hehehe
@ grootblousmile:
Isn’t Kruger a number 4 lock?
@ The_Young_Turk:It’s the chi…..no, I can’t say that. Long lay off, just coming back into fitness, should perhaps have had a couple of games with WP before coming into the Stormers, but he was needed
@ grootblousmile:
I don’t get that – “parkie”
69 @ Just For Kicks:
Yip, he did!
None of those unnecessary up-and-unders… and attacking the gain line hard.
We were warned before the season though that the Bulls were going to change tack slightly… and place MUCH more value on the groundball situations, play more possession rugby (end of last year’s Bulls function).
Players back out
2nd Half ON!
75 @ The_Young_Turk:
He was first caught in a PARK with the new chick….
France need to come to the party now
73 @ The_Young_Turk:
No, he plays No 5… definately!
France look buggered… eishhhh
@ grootblousmile:
Ok, thanks that’s great that we don’t have to rely on “PP” anymore.
Yip the frogs don’t look like their heart is in this game. Just going through the motions….
I thought that the scrummaging in the S15 over the last 2 w/ends looked much better than last year. Not so in the N Hemisphere
Penalty France… collapsing the maul.
Raining a bit now. So glad it does not rain or snow in my part of the woods….
Ireland 17 / 9 France
France on the come back trail here with another converted penalty – perhaps not!
So far it looks like this 6 Nations is Wales’s to lose….
France seem incapable of motivating themselves for every match in the competition. They always slack off for a match or 2
86@ grootblousmile:I love the snow
