Former France international Sebastien Chabal has announced that he will play Super Rugby for an Australian team in the very near future.

Chabal was recently sacked by a French Top 14 Rugby club after some miscommunication issue and has been linked with several rugby clubs around the world since.
However No.8 Chabal told French TV channel RMC “I’m going to play in Australia soon”.
Chabal did not reveal which Super Rugby franchise he will be playing for although the Melbourne Rebels appears to be the most likely as they have a strong foreign player recruitment policy whilst they are developing their own local talent.
The Brumbies may also be interested in signing Chabal although they have three recognized No.8’s in their squad but no high profile Wallaby No.8 (Ben Mowen, Ita Vaea and Fotu Auelua).
Chabal is not the only French player who will be playing in Super Rugby this season as Frederic Michalak joined the Sharks at the end of last season and has agreed to stay on until the end of the season when he will join Toulon.
He would be a good buy for Jake.
But wait, he is an over the hill, former star looking for work………….why have the WP not bought him?
