Poer in his moer out!
Sri Lanka 220 / 8.
229/8 … cant see the lankans hang in there much longer!!
Seems like the Sri Lanka tail has now decided to open shoulders and moer EVERYTHING.
Good 6 by Prasad
Sri Lanka still need 145 to avoid the follow-on
Philander continues to impress me
Prasad perishes off the bowling of Philander…
Gooooodie!
Sri Lanka 236 / 9.
Morkel definately not bowling as consistently and accurately as Dale Steyn and Philander has done…
… and as I say that he gets the edge of Chandimal… and OUT!
Sri Lanka 239 all out!
sri lanka 239/10
deficit 341 runs
cant see anything else than them batting again!
Sri Lanka with a 341 runs deficit…. seems like easy pickings from hereon in for South Africa.
Sri Lanka will be asked to follow-on, for sure!
follow-on enforced by sa! gooodie!
wicket!!
First Sri Lanka wicket fallllllsssssss!
Who else but Philander!
Sri Lanka 12 / 1…. Dilshan gone for only 5
come-on vernon
4 wickets for the 5for
8 wickets in the day by SA already…. and we’re still in Session 2…. fabulous going!
Damn!
12 runs added by Sri Lanka and no wicket…. hehehe
Fark, Mark Boucher drops a regulation catch off the bowling of Morkel.
Now THAT was very, very kak!
gbs @ 135
lmao
136@ grootblousmile:he missed a sitter off Tahir in the last innings too. Couple these with the drops in Durbs, and I really don’t see how he can justify his place – the rest of the glovemen in the country must be hyper kak! (Which they’re not, so why is he still there?) It’s not to say he isn’t a brilliant keeper, and has served his country well, but his eyes have gone – it happens to the best of us
The pitch has definitely dried up a ton on day 3, Tahir looking better in this pitch than I have ever seen him, I think. He is bowling beautifully – loads of bounce and turn
Bloody Engen Petroleum Limited has not paid my rent on a property they rent from me… and it’s the 5th already. Usually they’re spot-on, on time.
I phoned them and they had forgotten…. eishhhhhh
The wicket is still flat enough for top batsmen to really stay in and score big… so we should get the break at all costs, putting the fear of god and all doubt squarely in the minds of Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka batting at just over 2 runs per over…. that is at snail’s pace, to say the least.
Sri Lanka 42 / 1 after 19 overs.
Tea – Day 3
GBS, won’t you drop me an email with your physical address, the ball and chain says she will post it off to you when she goes to town tomorrow. Saves me going in – so she says…….I think that that maybe just because she is embarrassed to let me out in public
@ Just For Kicks:
Hi,
You saved me a job, I was going to remind GBS it was Twelth Night tomorrow too!! Heheheh
@ grootblousmile:
Part of my conservatory roof has blown away, We have a tractor with its fore loader resting on the roof to stop the rest from going!!
The Insurance men are going to be busy, the country has taken a battering!
Absolutely brilliant instinctive catch by Amla sees Thirimanne make the long walk hutwards
@ Blue Bird:Happy New Year, my advice, move into the front end loader, much simpler!
@ Just For Kicks:
Was wondering, perhaps if I moved the tractor the whole lot would go, that would mean new conservatory!!
Sort of tempting!!
@ Blue Bird:Park the tractor a few yards from the conservatory, let the wind blow it down over tractor, claim for new conservatory and new tractor. Brilliant. If you don’t want the tractor, I’ll take it!
