The Sharks have confirmed the extension of several prominent players’ contracts ahead of the upcoming Super Rugby season.

Several senior players have opted to renew their contracts including the likes of Springboks Patrick Lambie, Beast Mtawarira and brothers Bismarck and Jannie du Plessis.
Youngsters Lwazi Mvovo, Lubabalo Mthembu and Sibusiso Sithole have also re-signed with the Durban-based franchise.
Full details of the contracts are currently unknown but Sharks Commercial Manager Rudolf Straeuli has made it clear that some of the players have signed two-year deals.
“We have secured all the good young players and Springboks, none of them are leaving,” he said.
“We also have a stable coaching staff and environment and in the near future, we may be able to announce even more signings.”
This positive news for the Sharks comes only hours after it was announced that 27-year-old lock Steven Sykes will return to Durban after his short stint at Irish club Leinster.
Good for the Sharks.
These are all damn fine players!
