Amazing, how that slow start has cost us the match. Just shows, you can never take anything for granted in the modern age of cricket. Another wicket, Matthews caught Peterson off Parnell for 6 off 5 SL 294/5 22 balls left
Media are advised that a caption and tweet sent out by photo agency Gallo Images, claiming that Rassie Erasmus has been appointed technical advisor to the Springboks, is devoid of any truth.
Erasmus, who worked with the Springboks in that capacity at last year’s Rugby World Cup, recently resigned as senior professional coach of Western Province.
The pictures were taken by News24 to accompany a feature on Erasmus following his departure from Western Province. The story appeared in the Rapport newspaper on Sunday.
The images were loaded from News24 onto the Gallo website, during which process a caption appeared that erroneously claimed that Erasmus had been appointed by the South African Rugby Union.
SARU has sought an explanation for the mistake from Gallo.
18 off 20 needed, but Perera in now, should do it easily
17 Needed off 19 balls

how stupid and silly this “eenvoudige” proses turned out. Laughing stock of the World , thats why i never blamed PdeV alone , the whole bloody lot at SARU is clowns.
Who is going to bowl the last 2 overs?
Wasting balls now
275@ superBul:What I’ve been saying all along. An absolute sham, and so unfair on the potential incumbents involved, including Divvy
9 needed from 13 balls
Both Morkells was disappointing today, no real fire, but then this pitch is a paradise
278 @ Just For Kicks:
SARU is a joke, but Snor was their biggest stand-up comedian!
Question. If Kirsten wanted to give Peterson an extended run, how come he has only bowled 6 overs? Another wicket, Perera caught by Faf off JP for 2 off 8 balls. Is there a twist in the tail?
Not a total walkover , and the fat lady still sitting in her chair, hahaha
Perera goes…
6 Runs needed from 6 balls
6 off 6 required now
First 3 balls vital now
281@ grootblousmile:Still no way to treat the man, in my book. It’s disgusting. Having said that, I am looking forward to his book when it comes out, I think he may well call a spade a spade

Eishhhhhhhh
EISHHHHHH 1 ball left , almost a shock comeback
Great match, well done SL. Generally poor bowling from SA. Really need to tighten up in that department.
