GBS, I can do this till 6.00pm, then I have to go and cook the masses their pizza’s. Will finish around 9.00pm, can then carry on. Can you/superBul fill in between?
1 @ Just For Kicks:
That is what I was hoping for…
I have to go to a few places, amongst others to a glass shop, to buy a couple of panes of glass.
Also have a painter here, we are re-painting the whole house.
Hope I can see quite a bit of the cricket action, inbetween.
SA win toss and elect to bat – good decision, team changes include Wayne Parnell and Vernon Philander for Albie Morkel and Dale Steyn who are taking a rest. Albie needing a rest??????
There has been such debate around Smiths form and the Kirsten/Smith friendship this week, Smith must really be feeling it today. Lets hope for his sake, he can score a big one. As I say that, a ball goes right over leg stump. Where was he going?
Sl bowling a little wayward at the moment, a lot going down leg – easy pickings
Smith edges one, but through slips
Damn, Biff must be on juice or something….
He’s already exceeded my expectations by 14 runs….
Biff 15 off 12 balls
Petersen on 8 off 12 balls
If you want a real Pommie Golden Cricket Commentary moment go to You Tube and put in ‘Johnson and Aggers Legover’……
Stick with it for a moment….and if you don’t giggle you are made of stone!
4th over brings with it a bit of spin – or rather slow bowling as there is no turn yet!
@ Blue Bird:it’s a classic, that one!
7@ grootblousmile:bowlers doing their best to get him a good start
Peterson taking on the slow bowling, over the top for 4 over long on
…..and again, same shot, lower trajectory, for 6
summary of Sri Lankan bowling: too short, too full, too wide and too much leg side. Other than that some great bowling.
On this slow pitch, these balls are just sitting up and screaming “Moer me, please!”
Possibility of rain later, important for these two to score some fast runs
63/0 after 10 overs
SL again using 5 bowlers in first 10 overs – is that really a wise idea?
Smith looking better and better, some of that confidence returning now
80/0 after 12, Sri Lanka gifting this one at the moment
Wicket, Peterson gone, holing out to mid on, caught Theranga, bowled Herath, for 37 off 38 balls
Skielik is my tree vanself korter en toe my holspiere toe trek toe trek daai selfdeholspiere my arms ook reguit.
Ek was emosioneel in twee geskeur.
Vir “once in a while” was “luck” aan my kant.
My bestuurder wil he almal moet buite staan sodat hy die waaiers vir so 2 minute op full blast kan laat werk.”
50 up for Smith, could this be the start of a good run – it better had Biffy boy
@ Ashley:Yup, it’s Mica or Macro for you I’m afraid. I do have some spare Rubol though, if you need to keep your head down for a while!
jfk @ 24
😀
100 up for SA
Lovely shot for 4 through extra cover by AB, AB also going at a run a ball now….and another beautiful shot through mid off this time, FOUR
And another over the top of mid on this time, thats 3 x 4 in that over
A big 6 from Smith over the long on boundary
Batting power play taken in the 21 over, good thinking AB, I like it. Both big hitters have been at the crease for a while now, ball is a bit older, all adding up to a big potential score
