New Chiefs signing Sonny Bill Williams could play his last season of super Rugby in 2012 as he plans to return to playing Rugby League according to reports.

Sonny Bill Williams has reportedly told close friends of his that he plans to relocate to Sydney after his current contract expires.

Reports over the weekend revealed that Sonny Bill has been looking at properties in a number of areas in Sydney.

It is likely that if Williams leaves Rugby Union for Rugby League he will play for one of the Parramatta Eels or the Sydney Roosters.

Sources close to SBW say that he is looking at different areas in Sydney and is considering a code switch.

“Sonny has been asking a few mates about where he should live when he comes back to Sydney,” the source told the Sunday Telegraph.

“Playing NRL is a definite option.”

After the All Blacks won the Rugby World Cup the players season was finished and Williams has been spending a lot of time in Sydney and has been spotted working out in the Eastern Suburbs and shopping around the CBD.

Sonny Bill Williams made his Super Rugby debut in 2011 with the Crusaders but has since signed for the Chiefs on a one year deal.

No one person is bigger than the game. The sooner both he and NZRU realise this, the better. And the less said about him, the better. Just go.
