See the stadium is really empty again. Thought there would have been a lot more going today, seeing that it is not a working day.
Might fill up later when the Blitzbokke play.
Have to say it is a really nice looking stadium that.
@ Puma:Yeah, after all the hype, would have liked to see the stadium a bit fuller, hopefully it will fill up still. I was also disappointed in the amount of fans at Newlands last night – especially as it was the final. I think it is as we were talking about last week, namely that theres just too much rugby played nowadays
@ Just For Kicks:
Nope, I packed and are moving to Alaska, the only females there are bears, and they don’t care about rugby.
212@ Just For Kicks:Thought the 7’s attracts more of a party bunch. So a bit disappointed that the stadium is not full. Or rather half full would do, as doubt 45 000 would go watch the 7’s.
Just thought the 7’s tourney being in PE might attract holiday makers as well. So thought there would have been more at the stadium. Would be great if we got it be more like the Hong Kong or NZ 7’s where they dress up and it is more like a massive party. Might fill up once the quarters start.
Never watched the cricket last night, but agree a final should attract full house.
Bollocks, SA about to play and I have to go off and do a tasting. Oh well…..
Hellooooooooooo
Blitzbokke starting slow against France, letting in a score, then equalizing through Boom Prinsloo
Cecil Afrika scores!
Blitzbokke 12 / 5
Fark, France scores under the posts
12 / 12
Cecil Afrika scores again first after Halftime
Bokke 19 / 12
Tryyyyyyy Bernardo Botha
Bokke 26 / 12
Morning GBS, much better effort Blitzies in the second half
222 @ Just For Kicks:
Yip… with less than 2 minutes left we should win now
Final Score: Blitzbokke 26 / 12 France
Bit loose, but good win Blitzies
Nice win there by our Blitzboks.
Stadium filling up now too. Have to say the support from the PE crowd for our boys is really brilliant. Pleased they getting the England test there this year.
Fiji vs England now on
Okay back when we play the semi. See it is on at 5pm.
Catch up later.
Would actually like England to win here… the Fijians have the Blitzbokke’s number… specially as far as size and physicality is concerned.
@ Just For Kicks:Yup, good to see the crowd gathering, I was getting a bit concerned, but if I remember correctly it takes PE at least 4 hours to get up on a Saturday, and then another 2 hours to have a coffee!
Poms looking good
Sorry, that should be@ Puma:, not me
230 @ Just For Kicks:
Yup, they all had to pick up and repair everything that the wind blew away and broke during the night… hehehe
The trees even really grow skew there in PE, due to the wind
Another good try poms
Good Fiji try… only 7 points adrift now, enough time left
Scrum England, with about 1 min 30 secs left
Njammie, mammie!
England win
England 21 / 14 Fiji
Bit of gamesmanship there, but the poms go through
New Zealand vs Australia up next…
… expect only 1 winner here, would be a nice surprise if Aussie wins though.
Very shoddy tackling by the lime green aliens is not going to help their cause
