Air New Zealand recently re-confirmed its support for the country’s rugby team for another four years, re-signing as a major sponsor of the New Zealand Rugby Union and the world champion All Blacks until 2015.
Their new aircraft can seat a maximum of 442 people, and at 73.9 metres in length is one of the longer commercial airliners in operation.
“A paint job like this is extremely complex requiring 14 expert painters at Boeing working in shifts 24 hours a day to get the job done,” says Air New Zealand Group General Manager International Airline Christopher Luxon.
“The aircraft’s all black paint job will be overlaid with a design featuring New Zealand’s distinctive silver fern that will extend across the rear of the aircraft up to its tail.”
Good looking Boeing… and a fair tribute to the All Blacks.
