All Blacks loose forward Adam Thomson has had his World Cup jerseys stolen from his apartment in Dunedin, leaving him “heartbroken”.
The versatile Highlanders player, who can play in any position in the loose trio and featured on the bench for the champions in the World Cup Final, revealed that he had been the victim of crime on social media website Twitter.
“Came home to find my apartment has been meticulously burgled,” he tweeted. “Real scum of society who think they have a right to invade a person’s home. I mean I don’t care about the replaceable things. But what lowlife steals my world cup test jerseys? #heartbroken.”
The 29-year-old was returning from a trip overseas which saw him play for the Barbarians against Australia and for the southern hemisphere team in the Heroes Rugby Challenge match in London last weekend to find that his apartment had been “meticulously” ransacked.
Eish… crime all over the world, it seems, hey!
It must have been Quade Cooper!
