Vodacom Bulls vice-captain for the 2012 season Wynand Olivier is encouraging his troops from the side lines at the moment.

The midfield underwent shoulder surgery earlier this month and will only be back on the paddock at the end of January.
Another Springbok, Dewald Potgieter, is on the injury list, recovering from a crocked ankle and will also be back training by the end of next month, team doctor Org Strauss confirmed.
“Morné Mellett also had a shoulder operation and will be back at the end of February, while Warwick Tecklenburg has an AC reconstruction to his shoulder and should be fit to train at the end of January,” Strauss said.
Other injured players not fully participating in the Vodacom Bulls pre-season training camp at Loftus Versfeld is:
Rossouw de Klerk (foot injury, end of December), Gerrit-Jan van Velze (knee scope, mid December), LB Lusaseni (calf muscle tear, 1 week), Willie Wepener (AC right shoulder scope, mid December), JJ Engelbrecht (left AC-shoulder injury, train selectively), Francois Venter (left shoulder, mid December) and Fudge Mabeta (jaw fracture, mid December).
