90 @ Bullscot:
Yip, Philander got the nod ahead of Tsotsie… and Tahir got the nod ahead of Harris.
Philander is an all rounder with a bit of emhasis on bowling of course.
Aussies 29 / 9 after only 15 overs
So Australia avoid their lowest total in history, but what quirk of fate is going to be thrown at us next, I wonder?
34 / 9
The lead now Double Nelson (222)
94@ Just For Kicks:
Well hopefully one more wicket and then no more for the rest of today, maybe we’ll get the runs without losing a single wicket, wishful thinking I know.
In the air, just over a fielder’s hands…
Dale Steyns having a mare – 14 runs off 4 overs, appalling return. Bring back a decent bowler!
Well guys must be outta here, enjoy the rest of the day’s play.
99 @ Bullscot:
Cheers Bully!
Gooooooi Mielies!
96@ Bullscot:With Smith in the side, it is wishful thinking. He has the form of a constipated donkey trying to avoid a sh1t
See you guys in a while… got to go somewhere quickly
Siddle with the highest score of the innings
Aussies 47 ALL OUT!
@ grootblousmile:Don’t be too long, you might miss a 5 day test!!!
SA need 236 runs to win.
About 22 overs left in Day 2 still.
Wow – 4 innings in one day, if SA bat again today (and they will). Must just about be a record!
Oh boy, just come back to see Jacques Rudolph is gone for 14
SA 27 / 1 in their Second Innings.
Need another 209 runs with 9 wickets left…. 3 Days and about 15 overs time left to do it.
SA 40 / 1… need 196 to win
50 Up for SA…
52 / 1 after 11 overs
SA 68 / 1 after 15 overs.
Need 168 for a win.
Right, off home at last, but guess game over by the time I get in!
End of play for Day 2.
SA have only lost 1 wicket in their 2nd Innings.
SA 81 / 1
… Amla was dropped by Hussey off the last ball of the Day’s play…
SA need 155 for a win, with 9 wickets in hand and 3 Days to bat….
Had to fly up to Joburg today now finally back home. Missed all of the cricket.
See we were out for 97 and Oz out for 47! Heck what a day of cricket that must have been. Just watched the highlights. That was the 2nd lowest Oz were all out for since 1902….hehe. Now hope that pitch is okay. We need 155 and just hope we can make it.
Go Proteas. Hope we win this first test. Weather looks fine in Cape Town tomorrow.
@ grootblousmile:133 – hehe. That would have frustrated the hell out of them droping Amla on the last ball.
Damn I missed all the cricket today. Would have been great to watch.
Now hope we go on to win this test.
@ Puma:115 – droping = dropping
114, 115, 116 @ Puma:
Was amazing cricket….
23 Wickets tumbled in the space of ONE day!
@ grootblousmile:117 – Damn and I missed it all.
Will blog tomorrow here during the cricket. Hope we get the 155 runs. Wonder if it is the pitch or just great bowling or terrible batting? What you think?
Where is Super? he enjoys the crici as much as I do.
Hello chaps…..might have to change this website to Sport-talk soon after today. The worlds abuzz with the Protea boytjies display today.
Puma….long time no smell buddy….how’s things been?
Hello groot blue eye’s
118 @ Puma:
I’m playing golf tomorrow (it’s tough, but someone’s got to do it)… so do me a favour and post a number of comments with updated scores, from time to time…
I think SuperBees has never worked this hard in his life… he now knows what it entails to be your own boss.
… and there is no meaner boss in the world….
