@ The_Young_Turk:Long time no hear, they’re still hanging, as are yours, I hope!
These 2 batsmen must go on to both get their tons… would be ideal
Back to the cricket – it’s been a really topsy turvy series. No consistency and extraordinary batting collapses. I have never seen anything like it before. It’s come from both teams and I can’t understand why.
AB on 49 now
213 @ The_Young_Turk:
The farking T20 farks around with the players mindsets and the way they approach batting… does more harm than good
The way things have been going this series these two batsmen could be out in the next few balls and the rest of the team would just meekly follow them into the dressing room.
AB facing… on 49
AB gets his 50 with an almost catch 4 runs
… and the 100 partnership between Amla & AB also comes up…
Pitch looks relatively tame now… or is the ball just old?
@ grootblousmile:
ou ballas???
@ The_Young_Turk:If it is the T20 messing with their brains, and I can quite believe it, I think Kirsten is the perfect antidote to the problem. I think that his mental approach that he will instil in the players – as he did in India will work wonders. I am really excited about how the team progresses over the next year or so. I do however think that He and Smith are going to come to blows at some stage unless marriage has forced him to wear the skirt!
Smith to wear the skirt that is!
@ Just For Kicks:
Think Smith should not be captain anymore and just concentrate on his batting. Should groom a new captain and stick with him for a while.
Another 2 or 3 sessions like this, and we will be in the driving seat
Tea, Day 3
Hell, the Poms are a strange bunch… calling this break “Tea”….
@ The_Young_Turk:Agree 100%, I think that his batting would improve no end
@ Just For Kicks:
I hope there is no substance to the rumours about match fixing because a lot have money could have been made over this series.
226@ grootblousmile:Nothing wrong with that, it’s called sophistication!
@ The_Young_Turk:If the series was in Asia, can you imagine the out cry!
191 / 3, not bad at all.
A lead of 161 already, we must bat till middle tomorrow, at least, then have a day and a half to get the Aussies out.
@ The_Young_Turk:Thoughts on the WPRFU and the Saracens/CT Stadium debacle?
229 @ Just For Kicks:
Hahahaha, the Soap-Dodgers sophisticated….. hehehehe
@ grootblousmile:Must be a billy goat thing (singing the blues), but what the hell is a ‘soap-doger’?
234 @ Just For Kicks:
Poms are also known as ‘Soap-Dodgers’
Awesome R600 000 raised by the Gauties dressed in pink for cancer- Well done to the organisers
235@ grootblousmile:Aaaaah, a dodger, thats better – my longest without a bar of soap was 4 months – can anyone better that?
@ Just For Kicks:
Just sick to my stomach. I see it as another symptom of what’s wrong in the world. The pursuit of money being the justification and the objective in every case. Often it happens that a lot of money ends up being lost in misguided decisions. Also this very limiting short term view of things is leading to so many stupid and disastrous consequences. WP should move to CTS. There is no question about it. They are worried about the suite holders and don’t want to offend anyone of the important people who will have to lose their suite as CTS has less suites, so the rest of us have to suffer!
The 1% are continuing to screw the 99% for short term gain, without realising that everything is built on the backs of the 99%.
