Stem the runs, boys… new ball in just more than 5 overs
Really, Aus should walk this, 4 wickets in hand at less than 2 runs an over on a pitch that doesn’t seem to be doing as much as it was yesterday, and bowlers who just seem to be going through the motions. I don’t think bad light will play a role either. The boys need some fire, a new ball and some wickets,
Maiden over by Morkel…
If we pick up a wicket now that just may slow them down.
Just think we were 55 runs or so too short. Or probably 100 or more short if you think Oz lost out the whole morning to bat due to bad weather. So we were plenty short here. Pity really wanted us to win this test and the series.
Bad light won’t come into play. Sun full out there now.
Only 56 needed by Aussie now!
483 @ grootblousmile:Good we need plenty more of those. If we can’t pick up a wicket bowling a few maiden overs might put them under pressure.
It’s all going pear shaped – are the artiCHOKERS planning to snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory to a clearly weakened side?
Ag fokkkk, kak fielding by Biff
Damn, back to back 4’s
485 @ grootblousmile:Just too easy for them now.
Then a wicket goes another just may. Hoping we pick up a wicket that could change it.
Where is Philander?
Morkel goes for 4 off his 1st ball
They’re going at a run a ball, all too easy
Review by the Proteas
Really if we have a test and odi series against Oz let it be the real deal.
Why only two tests and 3 odi’s? Waste of time. We want 4 tests and 5 odi’s to make it a proper series.
A wasted review, desperation now
Not successful
Only 40 needed
All going absolutely pear now… now a bloody no-ball
Gbs,
When do we go to Oz to play there, do you know? Have looked at SuperSport, but they only give fixtures for us until the NZ Series.
Think we may go to Oz next October if I remember correct. Not very sure just thinking.
We need to bring back proper tour with 4 or 5 tests and 5 odi’s.
1 Over until the New Ball…. I say take the new ball as soon as you can…. let Philander rip at them
I think Aus are trying to win this before the new ball!
500 @ Puma:
Don’t have a foggy clue!
499@ grootblousmile:Pressure is on us, we have lost this one for sure.
Only 34 needed…. take the damn New Ball!
Ahhh Philander takes te New Ball!
GBS, you’ve got you’re wish!
504@ Puma: Never put that smiley up there???
And just to cap it all, all the Irish luck is going with the shackle-draggers
34 runs to go
..
time for the last throw of the dice
..
bring philander on and bowl him from both sides!!
