Par le vous Francais??

Dan Carter was forced to leave New Zealand’s captain’s run at Rugby League Park, Newtown, on Saturday with what team officials confirmed was a groin complaint.
The All Blacks fly half, who missed the earlier Pool A match against Japan with a back injury, is being assessed by team medical staff.
An update on his condition is expected to be released later on Saturday.
No decision has been made on his availability for the match against Canada on Sunday.
Carter is due to captain New Zealand for the first time in the absence of Richie McCaw, who has withdrawn with an injured foot.
Paul Williams of Samoa was sent off for striking an opponent contrary to law 10(4)(a) during the Rugby World Cup 2011 Pool D match against South Africa at North Harbour Stadium on 30 September.
The Player admitted the act of foul play.
Having conducted a detailed review of all the available evidence, including all broadcast angles and additional evidence from the Player and submissions from his legal representative Mr Kieran Donnelly, the Judicial Officer, Christopher Quinlan QC (England) concluded the offence was at the lower end of the scale of seriousness which has an entry point of two weeks.
The Judicial Officer found that there were compelling on-field and/or off-field mitigating features and a complete absence of on-field and/or off-field aggravating features.
In particular he determined that the strike was an open-handed push, the contact was not heavy and there was no adverse effect on the victim player or the match.
Therefore, in accordance with Disciplinary Clause 12.5 the Judicial Officer determined that no further sanction was necessary.
Williams is free to play with immediate effect.

Hy sê daar was net strafversagtende omstandighede en nie strafverswarende omstandighede nie.
Ek sien die Hand van die QC se vrind, BG Williams, pa van ou arme Paultjie… in die ruling!
Brian (BG) Williams, was / is mos ‘n regter daar in New Zealand… en ‘n QC is basies ‘n Senior Advokaat (Queens Council)
Anthems out of the way, the Tongan Sivitau is out of the way…

Free Kick France.. and they opt to scrum again… and again the free kick
Tell you what, these Pacific Islanders are physical specimens…. if they can get their minds right and if someone had to inject a heap of cash into Fiji, Tonga & Samoa… they could become very competative in the top ranks.
Kom Biltongbek, laat jy saampraat…. jinne man!
Penalty Tonga, on the France 10m line, side of the field
Morath going for posts
