Will it be the AB’s who choke, or the Frogs that croak – I feel that it will be ”cuisses de grenouille” on the menu’s in Wellington tonight
Blow for poor old Quad Cooper, looks like he’s out of rugby for at least 6 months. A really sad way to end what was not a World Cup that he would want to remember.
Ciao a tutti!
Helllllooooooooooooooooo
Goooooooooooo Rugby!
Morning , guys/gals i really hope the AB,s win. I dont want to see a whole nation slitting wrists.
Hope it is a good contest
Hello lads – thought I was going to be on my own for a while there!
Bit conflicted this morning. Would usually be supporting the Frogs but they have played such pathetic rugby that it would be a travesty if they became world champions. I suppose that it would make many saffas feel a bit better and we could could gloat if our greatest rival lost, but from a rugby perspective it would not be right. The All Blacks have dominated all and sundry, including the boks, for more than 2 decades now. They are at home in front of their nation. I feel for them.
Twenty four years on from the inaugural Rugby World Cup Final in 1987, New Zealand and France return to Eden Park to play out the Final of RWC 2011.
Ashwin Willemse, on of the best commentators we have ever seen on tv, bless his cotton picking little socks, has backed the Frogs to take this one, I reckon Henry has given his charges an ultimatum – go out there and hammer them into the ground, it will never be as easy again. So I predict a big win tonight! (I have, however got every prediction wrong this WC, but I live in hope!)
I just do not think the All Blacks would choke.
Also think they might just hammer the Frogs!
@ The_Young_Turk:
I am not the RWC biggest fan, for me it is just a short tournament, designed for upsets. It does not deserve the tag WORLD CHAMPION.
Therefore it will be such a big upset if the French can turn around the 1987 result. That in itself will be worth a watch.
Anthems!
GOOD MORNING ALL MY FELLOW LIONS’ LOVING RUGBY BLOGGERS!!!!!!
To those who doubted, and those from the place with a peakless mountain, “good morning” as well.
Let’s hope this RWC final is a game worth watching.
As to who wins, what does it matter.
@ grootblousmile:They’ve already started engraving the cup

Time for a bit of ballet before the match
Frrekin “european” New Zealanders in the crowd don’t know the Maorie words to their anthem.
Haka time.
Haka!
@ superBul:
It is what we have as the official WC. It may not be perfect but it’s what the rugby world voted on.
Kyk hoe staan die Franse
Eishhhh the Frenchies are holding hands while Kapa O Panga is done
You can see what the frogs have been practicing at training this week!
French answering the challenge, and HOW?
They’ll get fined, but I’m sure won’t give a sh1t.
Time to RUUUUUMMMMMBBBBBLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Game ON!
I expect the French to start brutally hard and try to shock the AB’s a little.
